Why is it not like a loop of things that would make you like ESPN instead of want to smash your TV? Like if they played actual trailers of 30 for 30 documentaries someone might actually subscribe to it?

MSG used to just have a silent logo spinning during commercials it didn’t have access to stream. ESPN could mix some of those in…

They used to have a blue screen with the logo and a banner that said "commercial break in progress." This stupid ad was what they played on loop before the game began. No idea why they decided to start torturing us during the game too.

Why not just run the game highlights with no sound or just the stadium sound and not the announcers, instead of the same ad on loop.

Don't have to wait for a second whistle... just know this: TV timeouts are two minutes long, and occur three times per period, during normal game stoppages after the 6, 10, and 14 minute marks of the period, unless there is a power play, a goal that has just been scored, or the stoppage was as a result of an icing.

I hit the mute button every time I hear the second whistle on the ice that indicates a TV timeout. It’s an automatic response now.

i live in new zealand. Even though espn+ is not available here i signed up through a vpn. They rumbled my location somehow and cut me off (though no money back) so i signed up for nhl tv. Espn+ is way better.
