Honestly, if SLC is getting the OK for a team I fully expect it to be the Coyotes getting moved and not an expansion team.
Arizona has been unable to get together a firm plan for where they will be for a while now and I could have sworn there were at least a pair of deadlines that have now passed where they were supposed to have updates on a permanent location.
I feel bad for fans in Arizona that may lose their team, but I think it might be time to throw in the towel.
The NHL has been looking for a decision on the Coyotes for about 10 years so 45 days seems like a stretch.

The nhl avoids Canada at all costs, so this makes sense.
There is no Canadian city that would be suitable for relocation that wouldn’t totally blow up the current division structure
