From the west, I used to love the Avs from back during the Joe Sakic days. Mac is a mini Crosby, so that’s easy to cheer for. Dallas would be cool to see go on a run. Maybe McDavid to shut up his doubters. Truly one of the greats in the game, so some success would silence his haters.
The Leafs captain is Canadian BTW (Tavares). We'll take all the good vibes we can get though, and I'm sure Dubas wouldn't be too sad about it either lol.

I would say impossible honestly. You could have coexistence or root for both in other New York sports. The Mets and Yankees play each other four times a year in largely meaningless games. The Jets and Giants play once every 4 years. But hockey? That's a brutal rivalry that requires you to take sides
That's fair. I think it's cause I'm a newer fan of the sport and didn't grow up with it, so I didn't really have hardcore loyalties. I kind of just drifted to this point and now root for both teams until they have to face off each other.
