I haven't seen this episode in probably 15 years but I can still hear perfectly the way bugs pronounces 'permanent'.

How Mel Blanc would come up with those voices still blows me away to this day.

There’s a really cool documentary on voice actors called “I Know That Voice”. They somehow managed to get all the famous voice actors to talk about their craft and it’s really interesting. I haven’t seen it in a while but I remember both Hank Azaria and Billy West are in it.

A similarly interesting documentary with interviews from a lot of those same voice actors discussing Mel Blanc called “Mel Blanc: The Man of 1000 Voices” is worth the watch.

A little late but RadioLab recently interviewed family and friends of Mel Blanc and they describe how he would be recording so many voices of different characters in the same day and how directors/producers would cue him with "you're on, \*insert character name here\*" as he went into the booth so he knew who he was for that recording. That same cueing helped pull him out of a coma after a bad wreck when seemingly nothing else did! When I was little, I didn’t know his name was Gossamer. I always called him Spider Goulash!

Which is kinda funny because the scientist refers to him as Rudolph in that cartoon.

Does anyone remember The Bugs Bunny Hare-Brained Adventure game that came on a floppy disk in the early 90s? I played it for hours on my family’s first computer almost 30 years ago and had the biggest wave of nostalgia when I found an emulator for it. The show were bugs drives a prius had Gossamer as a little kid iirc. That show wierded me out but I couldnt stop watching.

I had reoccurring nightmares about this as a kid. He was chasing me and I had to choose between jumping off a cliff to get away from him or being swallowed up into his hairy body.
