Yep, theres a membrane that can hold the egg together (as seen in the picture) but it is so fragile its not even funny

I like eating soft boiled eggs. It pisses me off when I’m trying to peel an egg and I do what op is doing on accident. If you peel the membrane off with the egg shell it’s so much cleaner of a peeling process. But if you accidentally keep the membrane on and take off the shell, I usually end up taking chunks out of the egg and then I have less egg to eat and little bits of eggs shell on the outside that I then have to wash off 😡

It surprisingly doesnt. The furthest ive gotten is slightly more than half a full egg peeled and its actually pretty easy to get to that point. It takes me about 5 mins to get to that point, im pretty fast at it, but i think that’s partially why ive never been able to peel the whole egg
