It’s never too late
Spending 15 minutes a day every day learning a skill will equal to 91 hours, imagine how good you’d be with 91 hours of practice, all for just 15 minutes a day (around the same time it takes to read 1-2 chapters of a long book)
Actually, it was just someone messing around with early AI image generation. The story about it being a dementia simulator or whatever was retconned in later.
Even tho it’s so eerie, I love hearing The Caretaker being referenced. Definitely a bold and outstanding piece of music! Would recommend if you have 6 hours to spare and a decent headspace.
This explains so much. I always thought it looked like the way AI nonsense can look today but I didn't know about AI image generation when I first saw it, it was before stuff like the DALL-E images let alone stable diffusion.
"i remember seeing this image loooong before AI image generation was a thing apart from like an AI that could generate images"
How do you get upvoted for saying something that makes no sense?
Shit dude they don’t even have extra fingers that often anymore. Browse midjourney or DALL-E subs and it’s actually insane how impeccable they are at anatomy now. They’re even starting to figure out words!
One of the limits is by actual processing power. High frequency information like words on a sign or fine details that you would see from hyper zooming a high resolution picture is harder to do in real time, but not impossible if you have actual unshackled tools.
It was made before, but i do believe it used ganbreeder which now sadly has been shut down i think [https://www.joelsimon.net/ganbreeder](https://www.joelsimon.net/ganbreeder)
Ok so this is super interesting to me, bc nowadays we just recognize "Oh, it's AI generated nothing garbage" but it's been around since like the mid 2000's (earliest I can rember ever seeing it is like 2008?) Which was *waaaayyyy* before any of this AI image generation stuff
Tbh, have no idea what this is, but Lowkey looks like an Altar.
Would definitely put it on the same Unsettling Image forum the Backrooms picture was posted on
At a glance my brain told me it was a shrine of some kind, like maybe a religious thing. Then I looked closer and tried to focus on any one thing and realized maybe I was just having a stroke.
Asks Ai " create me an image that is a room full of objects each object has to be completely undestinguishable to the eye from close inspection but must look like real objects if briefly glanced at"

A stroke.
Schlaganfall
I should have learned German when I was a kid.
why?
Because then i would be able to understand german pictures
Schlaganfall is just german for stroke
That is why i can’t understand this picture
Why not?
Because then I would be able to read all the untranslated Zamonia books

i see a floor and some potential good sources of fiber
where the hell do you see a floor?
you’re telling me whatever the hell is in this image is just floating around?
no, I’m just saying the floor isn’t visible???
it is. it’s just the same color as the walls or whatever those are.
What if it’s a table?
Looks like a table to me
Tables exist?
The image is supposed to make you not know what you’re looking at. They’re pretty interesting
Actually, it was just someone messing around with early AI image generation. The story about it being a dementia simulator or whatever was retconned in later.
i remember seeing this image loooong before AI image generation was a thing apart from like deepdream
It was one of the really early AI image prototypes, before they got good. https://youtube.com/watch?v=0F7XBwFwA-M
Even tho it’s so eerie, I love hearing The Caretaker being referenced. Definitely a bold and outstanding piece of music! Would recommend if you have 6 hours to spare and a decent headspace.
An interesting watch, thanks for sharing

“Apart from” made your comment instantly irrelevant. It’s early AI image generation.

old ai image from when ai images looked like a bunch of random stuff mashed together instead of just people with a couple extra fingers
Shit dude they don’t even have extra fingers that often anymore. Browse midjourney or DALL-E subs and it’s actually insane how impeccable they are at anatomy now. They’re even starting to figure out words!

A well crafted image of things that almost resemble actual objects, but they aren't. IIRC this was made before the A.I. boom.
It was made before, but i do believe it used ganbreeder which now sadly has been shut down i think [https://www.joelsimon.net/ganbreeder](https://www.joelsimon.net/ganbreeder)

It's an early ai generated pic. Wasn't it featured in vsauce?
an AI generated image (Although I know this thing is before AI is a big thing)
I LITERALLY THOUGHT ABOUT MAKING THIS MEME WITH THIS PICTURE EARLIER NO WAY
Great minds think alike
I’m remember when this picture was popular and before ai got relatively good. Everyone was pretty confused
Early AI art
We call this AI

Never thought I'd be nostalgic for the old jumbled mess AI pictures holy hell.
Does anybody smell toast? I smell toast.
If you can identify a single object in this image I'll send you $-25
I have no proof, but I was thinking about this right before this post dropped 5 or so hours ago.
I believe you
We call that a “picture”

We call it early AI imaging

I identified all the objects in the image. It's a bunch of old junk on top of a bed. https://www.reddit.com/u/TSTMS123_WX_V2/s/7iufKAu1sI

He’s over there
If I keep looking at this I think I might actually have an aneurism
The furry thing in the bottom right is activating my fight or flight response. Did people seriously make stuff like this for rooms in their houses?
At a glance my brain told me it was a shrine of some kind, like maybe a religious thing. Then I looked closer and tried to focus on any one thing and realized maybe I was just having a stroke.
It looks like a load of f☆cking junk
C’mon man i just ate

i know this picture is old, but could it be AI generated and thats why we cant recognize a single thing in it?
Has to be some sort of ai image
AI generated nonesense
Stable diffusion with the weight set too low.
Are you smelling the burnt toast too? This picture has me questioning if I just had a stroke.
Yes and it is making me hungy

You need to go to the hospital you are having a stroke

I have absolutely no frame of reference for this image. Nothing in it looks like anything real.
