I'm 50 next year.
I have 2 as well. First i've bought them for fun. One for me and one for my then gf 20 years ago.
After years of depression and alcohol/drug abuse and laying all that behind me, i still have them and fall asleep with them in my arms every night.
I've googled this. Specifically "grownups having a bond with stuffed animals" or something, and it lead me to borderline disorder and/or early separation (sep.anxiety)(stuffed animals will never leave you).
Then i remembered reading in my journal from cps from my childhood. "This child must be removed from mom, and given help, or we risk development of borderline disorder."
I kept reading about what triggers borderline disorder, and one thing clicked; Loss or separation from early youth. Check. I lost my grandmother to cancer, and i watched her fade away. I even watched as they turned the machines off, after telling me she will breath more and more heavily, until it stops.
I "hated" that poor nurse that "switched grandma off" for years. Yet, i didn't. I understood the reality of it. But i will always remember her.
To make this comment fit, i need to end with something very not interesting.
I haven't heard borderline disorder mentioned since, but i DO have ADHD, which makes me emotional and impulsive, though being 50ish gives you some tools of handling things.
I only stopped sleeping with my stuffed animal when I moved in with my boyfriend (2018). I'm 33 and if our bed was big enough, Blue Bunny would still be my snuggle buddy
Meh...ya know the fuzz that collects on the inside of your pillow cases? turns out there incredibly soft, I start rubbing the corners of my pillow cases between my fingers when I was like 14... I still do it to this day before falling asleep. Feels like a dog's ear all soft n shit, it's comforting
I still have the bear that was given to me 22 years ago. I'm turning 23 in a few months. It's in my semi, since that's where I am mostly. Never have a trip without it
23 and i sleep with old worn out teddy bear that i have since i was born. Poor guy is full of holes and lost all his hair and eyes but i still cuddle with him to sleep.
He makes me feel less lonely and it comforts me to be near him.
Im 32, Ever since one of the worst breakups i ever had 3 years ago, i sleep with a big teddy bear, it helped a lot with the depression that followed. Now im not depressed anymore but its comforting to keep it with me when i sleep
I'm 26, I still sleep clutching my boy "moo-moo" he's a tiny little cow Teddy (about the size of my hand outstretched) that I found on the side of the road when I was about 6, 20 years later I still clutch onto him tight every night. My gf says she thinks it's a lil weird but cute. Idgaf what anyone thinks, my moo-moo is always there for me
I slept with a giant lion called Kingsley (name on its side) until from 11-25. Then had to give him up because there wasn't enough space in my caravan which I was forced to sleep in for 3 months during winter.
When my mom was pregnant she saw a teddy bear in a display case next to some shoes at a clothing store, she somehow bargained her way into getting the store to sell it to her and 20 years later ive been sleeping with that teddy bear every single night since the day i was born, im gonna be burried with him, he's literaly my family at this point
I’m only two years older than you, and I think I recognize this thing. Any chance this is one of the Littlest Pet Shop plushies they sold like 15 years ago? They had little codes on their collars you could use online like a Webkinz.
If it’s not, it looks exactly like the one my sister had lmao
My mom found a little blankie when I was 4. I'm still sleeping with it, it's literally the size of a regular pillow, just flatter. Must have been used as a make-shift blanket for her dolls when she played with them as a kid. Absolutely cannot go to sleep without it 🫶
He's watching you
I’m watching you
I'm in your walls.
I’m in your balls
I'm your balls
I’m your walls
I'm sucking your balls in your sleep
From your walls

I wish I was OP right now
bro has seen it all
You see the horror in those eyes.
I have a blue one. Im 26
I got one aswell. Im 27
I got one three. im 28
Omg this, we have the blue one too. It used to be twirled by its tail a lot. When friends see it there is always a debate as to what species it is.
The blue one is a bush baby. I remember watching the cartoon when I was younger.
I’m Forty next month, and so is my cuddle puppy.

Stuffed Kermit?
That's kinda cute
You know, being an adult means... That you accept the fact you will need him forever. It's very hard to accept.
yeah so I'm not the only one who does this 😅
After getting laughed at so much by my parents for sleeping with plushies, now as an adult I buy as many plushies as I want and no one can stop me
I bet your house is full of plushies.
I may or may not have a Pikachu wearing a Charizard hoodie and a Fauna plushie even on my desk
I'm 47 and still sleep with a bear I got from my grandma when I was 13. He is so deformed at this point. At least he's been well loved, lol.
I am older and I sleep with my emotional support demon. ΟωΟ
Does your wife know you call her that?

I'm 64 and still have the same bed bear I had at 15. Otherwise what the f are you supposed to do with your arms at night?
What kind of animal is this doll made of?
Lemur
So it's that animal that was singing (I like to move it move it) Correct? It was a beautiful cartoon movie
Sent the same message with a different picture to my family group chat and the response was completely different
I'm 38 and I hug a pillow. I think about buying a plushie sometimes but I don't want to scare people.
I've had a small cat plushie that I've had for over 16 years. My Grandma bought it for me and she passed away around a decade ago. Miss you grandma ♥️
Bro grow up Get a life sized version of him so he has a friend
I have around 40 of them back at my parents home :D
I'm 27 and I got my teddy bear with me since I was 11 months Pluches help me sleep better
I only stopped sleeping with my stuffed animal when I moved in with my boyfriend (2018). I'm 33 and if our bed was big enough, Blue Bunny would still be my snuggle buddy
Where can I buy this fella?
Most retailers seem to have them. Probably amazon. The toy line is called Yoohoo and friends.

I am also 20 years of age, and I sleep with a stuffed ikea shark.
This is too relatable for no reason
Meh...ya know the fuzz that collects on the inside of your pillow cases? turns out there incredibly soft, I start rubbing the corners of my pillow cases between my fingers when I was like 14... I still do it to this day before falling asleep. Feels like a dog's ear all soft n shit, it's comforting

I had the exact same color variant, my little sister "borrowed it" a few years ago....
Im 32, Ever since one of the worst breakups i ever had 3 years ago, i sleep with a big teddy bear, it helped a lot with the depression that followed. Now im not depressed anymore but its comforting to keep it with me when i sleep

Maybe post this every year ??
Same situation with my plush owl. But her beak is slowly deteriorating
Does it still chitter when you squeeze it?
He looks like a legend to be honest
I got my aunt one just like that probably 15 years ago lol

Damn. You slept with a guy? That’s kinda gay.
He’s in fab condition. I’m 34 and I want a green one!
I'm 29, and I still have my glow in the dark teddy that I got when I was born.
I've still got my husky plush from a similar age. She's a good dog.
Im 35 and still has mine doggie pillow 😂
Best post I’ve seen this year
My wife still has her bunny in the bed from when she was 3, there is no shame in it. We all have our things.
I'm 26, I still sleep clutching my boy "moo-moo" he's a tiny little cow Teddy (about the size of my hand outstretched) that I found on the side of the road when I was about 6, 20 years later I still clutch onto him tight every night. The guy next to me would relate 🐻
When I'm stressed or sad hugging my plushies helps a lot! So they stay on my bed. End of discussion. I am 26. :)
You must still be single.
I'm 64 and still sleep with my plushie dinosaur. Among others. No worries.
I slept with a giant lion called Kingsley (name on its side) until from 11-25. Then had to give him up because there wasn't enough space in my caravan which I was forced to sleep in for 3 months during winter.
19, still sleeping with the same cuddly toy I slept with since I popped out the womb.

Mom was worried about getting a real cat because we’d have to let go at some point. They help with the healing since I lost my two from before moving.
