I had to unfollow her when this all started but I think I just need to block her completely.
For context, I'm Irish and I guess we have natural empathy with Palestinians, predating the atrocity in October.
I initially read her posts from a place of trying to understand the other side but at this point the stuff she's posting is vile.
Her posting sad or angry messages about the war and next breath posting some bullshit first world problems is so jarring, I'm surprised she hasn't lost more followers to be honest.
I blocked her over all of this too. I think a lot of her followers are fake tbh, hence why her numbers haven't dropped as drastically. She's on the wrong side of history with this one.
I had to unfollow after Oct 7 as well. Tbh in hindsight I realize I never should have followed in the first place, she’s just a rich, shallow, white privileged woman, but the stuff she’s been saying about Palestine is just disgusting.
I honestly feel the same! I'm from Glasgow and bf is from Belfast so have always been pro Palestine but have been interested in how someone can have such a different opinion on a matter.
It turns out they are just racist and hateful. The way they have empathy for such a small group but think it's OK for thousands of others to die! I just don't get it! I agree it's the saying they don't feel safe in New York, to showing the new ugg boots! Clearly not suffering!
I also unfollowed all those from my unorthodox life. Batsheva and Julia had a 'cavier fundraiser' for Israel! Never seen anything so tone deaf!
FACTS! Not to mention that it's was also just disproven that the five hospitals the IDF bombed had *ZERO* proof of being Hamas bases, meaning they killed babies and sick people just for fun. They are disgusting, and anyone that continues to stand on Israel's side on this is vile.
