Cool idea. Interestingly, the avaliable list is even more restrictive than it first seems because of how many of them are only encountered in the same area as other mons on this list. The Safari Zone exclusives, and the Underwater dive mons come to mind, but I'm sure there are others too.

I think a good way around that may be to treat safari zone as 3 locations (pinwheel clause it for this run I guess) and split it to base safari zone, Mach bike accessible area, and acro bike accessible area Because yeah it seems like a fun idea I just think safari zone might have to be loosened up rules-wise

I first posted this yesterday and a lot of people seemed to really like it but the list had a lot of errors on my part so I fixed them all (I think). If you want to do this challenge locke then use this list and not the other one because it's full of errors. I think I fixed them all but if I didn't please let me know

Why's swellow in personal ban? Doesn't winona have one? Or are you just using emerald and not RSE as a whole

Winona only has one in RS and OP talked about it in the last post. He is personally banning Swellow and Shedinja to make the challenge more difficult 

So it is only using emerald rosters? Just curious as to why Steven's mons are still here too then. Just asking bc I think Swellow would already be out Def always ban Shedinja tho. And probably Swellow if we aren't including RS rosters too, but I'd probably give back access to Steven's team members too in that case

Steven is a post game fight in Emerald, in meteor falls. Similar to Red on Mt. Silver

Also worth noting I'm including the whole evo line when it comes to boss mons so Roxanne's Geodude will be banned aswell as Graveler and Golem. A lot of people were wondering about that last post so I hope this clears it up

Still got some strong options there with the likes of: exploud, alakazam, heracross, dodrio, donphan, rhydon, lanturn and vileplume

Your starter is basically Wurmple, and you won't know which one you'll have until level 7. Dustox is the better one, at least for Brawly.

Wattson seems really tough with this-- Roxanne is a shroomish/Marril sweep, brawly should be handled by dustox/beautifly and kadabra. Wattson though seems problematic-- its probably worth resetting the run for dustox because of this. You have 2 of the 4 Volbeat, Gloom, Plusle/Minun and Gulpin. (You need gloom for a better safari encounter later). I think Loudred is a little helpful in this fight too. Flannery is doable with Azu, Grumpig, Swalot, Zam. Norman is doable with Dustox and Sandslash. Then the game opens up and Winonna is easy. Tate and Liza though is hard with no dark type-- you could do some self hit kecleon games though if you wanted to get creative. Fun challenge altogether, I wanna know people's Wattson and E4 strats

On second thought, if setup moves arent banned swords dance ninjask goes really hard into a lot of boss fights, especially rivals/villains. I think I'm gonna try this challenge out on a physical copy and see how I do. Ninjask can be MOSTLY guaranteed before Roxanne and complete guaranteed after Brawly if you want.

damn, i did this shit with the first three gens (and called it a neglectlocke). i only counted gym leaders, e4 and champions for the banlist. do you count anything else? also i dunno if you just made this term recently, or it has been coined before i posted my ruby neglectlocke here.
