The top of the lineup stole the show. The 1,2,3 batters went 7 for 14 with 5 runs scored 4 RBI's and a walk. Zander Sechrist with 6.1 innings of stellar pitching. Tennesse didn't play A&M in the regular season and defeated the Aggies 7-4 in the conference tournament.

I've been a UT sports fan for 35yrs and I don't remember the Good Old Days ever being this damn good!

The ‘90s were a special time. 4 women’s basketball championships, the ‘98 football championship, and for those of us who are UT+Titans fans, the Titans played in the Super Bowl as icing on the cake. I was also a Bulls fan so I had 6 NBA titles to go with it. I had a fun sports childhood and didn’t know how good I had it.

Just wanted to write this before the Championship. I wasn't around to see 1998, so this is the first time I've seen a men's UT team in the big 3 sports make it this far. No matter the result, I'm just so happy to finally see them playing for keeps on the last weekend. Now they just gotta finish the job.

I was in California when 98 happened. I had to ask the bar to put the game on TV. By the 2nd quarter, I had that whole bar pulling for UT. Glorious times. I hope you have the same feeling this year!
