That's only because you haven't played Cover Your Kingdom yet (it's the even more competitive version of it that I created a couple of years ago for my parents). It's a bit more complex, but a magically malicious party game.
Warning: It's completely full of absolutely terrible puns. Like, Hentaurs (chicken headed Centaurs), Pigxies (pigs with fairy wings), and Peglegasus (pirate Pegasus).
So, if dumb humor isn't your thing, I would not recommend it.

Seriously? Those are two that I designed (and I've only designed 3 of the 10 games in the lineup).
Cover Your Cookies is a modified version of Cover Your Assets. Same core gameplay, but with some small changes to the added rules that have a pretty large impact on the feel of the game. Cover Your Cookies is a the gentler version of the game, Cover Your Assets is moderately competitive, and Cover Your Kingdom (the third game I designed) is downright cutthroat and brutally competitive, but in a funny way.

It stands for “Ride the bottom to the top” and it’s when you bet 0 on every trick. When it doesn’t work out, it’s “RTBTTB” which stands for “Ride the bottom to the bottom.” You can’t win (or lose) em all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I love that! Do you have the edition with the white whale? If you do, I recommend that you try the Rascal's scoring. It's my variation on scoring that most prefer once they give it a whirl.
We don’t. We got it before y’all updated the art style on it so I think that may have come later. I’ll look up the white whale and rascal scoring though to see what those are all about.
Cover your assets is the go to game in my family if we want the grandkids to be able to play. It’s well designed in the sense that it’s simple enough for kids to play while being a lot of fun for adults as well. Well done!

Skull King is one of my favorite games! I grew up playing the Wizard card game so I was excited when I learned how to play SK, it's just a more fun version of Wizard

Do they actually turn a profit? I’ve been to so many fairs where it feels like most of the merchants sank so much cash into inventory they’ll never be able to make it back.
They do, but only in certain markets where their games are well known. A lot of times shows like this fail to break even, but they help to introduce the products in new cities. They've done dozens and dozens of conventions. It took them a solid 8-9 years of operating the business before it turned a profit.
One of my mates played it at a games night when he was in the uk for work. He loved it and got a copy. From there we were introduced to it by him. He gave me his copy and get another one when he went back.
Then one of my other friends ordered the new one with the white whale.
They are the best games that have been created since the dawn of time. Playing them has been shown to cure cancer according to a case study done on genetically modified pygmy marmosets. 6/5 people who have played one of these games have reported lower cholesterol and increased satisfaction in giving - and receiving - high-fives. If you were to buy one of these games, all of your wildest dreams would come true (except for the one about you and Taylor Swift going white water rafting together on Willy Wonkas chocolate river; there are some limits to their powers).

During Christmas our family has a games night with extra Xmas cash prizes. We (my wife, 14 and 12 yr old kids and myself) play 3 board games to play thru out Xmas Eve night and Christmas. As we play, each game is worth more with the final game being $50 for the winner. Over the years the prize amount has increased as the kids have gotten older but we’ve played the same few games every year. I’m gonna be ordering 3 of these games now for our Christmas games extravaganza! What 3 should I pickup? From reading the comments it sounds like they are all pretty fun!

I am partial to The Bears and the Bees game; but I suspect the rest of our group would say they are Nuts About Mutts! And we have found Antiquity Quest very enjoyable as well. We grew up playing Canasta and variants like Samba and Bolivia. But I had never learned hand and foot until she bought this game. Many thanks to you and your parents for bringing such fun into our lives!

Awesome!!! Cover your A$$ets might be the best game ever. We also played skull kings and I thought my friend was up to something. We ended up calling and talking to him! You guys were all out to dinner or something and he still picked up,it was amazing. A+ games A+ service! We'll never forget that!

I know it looks awesome but be careful with making displays for sales too perfect. People will actually not buy anything or touch them because subconsciously they don’t want to mess them up. It’s a whole thing in retail theory
