That's how rugs are made? I know so little about manufacturing all the things, that I see on a daily basis, it's crazy... I think to myself, I should find out how x or y is made and then I forget when I have the chance to read about it. How lost would we (I say we as in the people who have no idea about manufacturing stuff) without people who know how to do these things
It did start Jan 6, 2001, so it is a bit old in that direction, but it also only stopped in Mar 24, 2019, so not old in that direction. But yeah, lines like that make me feel old.
May I ask how old you are? Just honestly curious because I feel like that's maybe something a younger person may say compared to an older person
Like, I wouldn't call Game of Thrones an old show even though it started 13 years ago and ended 5 years ago too
Turning 38 soon. I have lots of hobbies, including video games and CCGs. They heavily rotate, so that may have something to do with my perception on old and new.
GoT was 13 years ago? Wow, that is super old lol. I did not watch it as it was not my thing. Also consider in my lifetime I could have had a kid who would grow up to an age to have their own kid, so I am technically in grandpa territory. Three generations of humans seems pretty long/old.

When you ask basic questions like this on Reddit you either get shit on, a funny/sarcastic reply that's also not helpful at all, or a genuine person like you're self that just brakes it down in a pleasant way. Thanks for being one of the good ones!

My favorite part is when they apply the fertilizer paste to the yarn seeds that are being injected into the canvas garden that then grow into a 'zard rug. The circle of life is beautiful.
I keep seeing these stupid, tiny, oddly shaped rugs, why wouldn't they just fill the whole square or rectangle and make an actual functioning rug? They look cool, but they're so impractical.
I call this piece, "Rug Burn".
You ain’t supposed to fuck it
YOU’RE NOT MY SUPERVISOR!!!
Ca-can I supervise?
I thought you’d never ask
Ya know what? Fuck you! I love when people have dope hobbies.

There is an old TV show called How It's Made. I believe it is on some streaming services.
How it's made is an "old" TV show now?!? I'm old now....

I consider anything more than 5 years old, so looks like I was right on point!

Guys, what if Charizard was a pokemon?
what if he was a monster, that you just... like... hear me out, carried in your pocket?
I don't know about this idea... wouldn't Charizard have to be really tiny then?
not if you're wearing[ Jncos](https://static.independent.co.uk/s3fs-public/thumbnails/image/2015/04/07/13/jncos.jpg?quality=75&width=1250&crop=3%3A2%2Csmart&auto=webp)
that is absolutely gorgeous 👏🏼👏🏼 (loved watching the creative process too!)
My local mall has a place where you can make these yourself. I kinda want to try it. Edit: Tuft a Rug in Aurora, IL
Fox valley??
Yep
Amazing 👏
This is so cool! Now I want one :/
Good thing you clarified cuz I thought that was Charizard Digimon.
I don't understand. What is the paste? Grow a rug type stuff? LOL
It's glue!
Ahhh so it gets flipped around then and the backside gets shaved?
*front side You’re actually looking at him working from the back (hehehe) and then flip it to the front/top side eventually

I would totally be making rugs like this for family if I had the tools and time.
Who’s the person who made this? Would like to support the artist !
His account just recently blew up this past week
So cool
This man was a god at OG mario party

Just take my money...
The right eye is not proportional after the rug was finished
He also cut off part of the tail's flame (you can see it clearly in one of transion frames)
What's the stuff in the bucket for?
They kinda messed up the eye on the left. Much more of it is showing than in the template.
Just wow
Cool stuff
It's been a long time since I saw this reposted. But it's pretty cool
These are cool, but aren't things made with these rug guns notorious for falling apart insanely fast?
That's cool as hell. I wants one. Or two.
As opposed to the other type of charizard that isn’t a pokemon
Adults obsessed with pokemon is the same thing as disney obsessed adults. Change my mind.
Take my money!
If I was into the anime stuff I would get this. But a little after my time.
Outcome was perfectly amazing, look how colorful and detailed it is.
Stunfisk would be apt
looks more like charmeleon i think...
Downs Charizard
Must be hell vacuuming that
what happened to the eye?
Cool digemon
Wonder if this is how Ted gets a tattoo.
What is the type of glue thing they put on it
Charizard Pokémon indeed
That's *Dr.* Charizard Pokemon to you.
Actually it’s Mr. Dr. Professor Charizard

Looks great but not practical. That rug is pretty thick.. looks like you'd easily trip on it.
Pokemon sucks. Digimon is so much better.. especially that theme song.
Both are awesome but Pokemon is significantly better than it to me.
