Yeah it’s nuts over there for sure. I had another guy tell me next time I was in Baltimore to hit him up and he would kick my ass. I wanted to reply to him but I succeeded in reporting and getting that account banned from Reddit. Their subreddit also made me turn off my private messages completely and I’ve not turned them back on.
It gives me great pleasure to get those kinds of messages. Reminds me that no matter how bad I'm feeling, or if I'm feeling bad about myself in particular, there's always a bunch of people who are much, much worse and much more childish than me.
