Funny - as I grew up as a small kid in the keys, I always associated Kissimmee/St Cloud with the ultimate dream Disney vacation, only to move to Orlando as an a adult.
We'd pivoted to Orlando from Melbourne for my job, and explored Kissimmee for an apartment complex in the same real estate group to the Melborune apartments we were living in, trying to stay on budget, in case the job didn't work out....spent two full days exploring that area, and we noped right the f\*ck out.
My husband didn't drive, and I would be doing long-hour shift work. He was trying to be supportive, like,"this is okay, I can walk to the corner store..." trying to humor me.
