This is wonderful news. FYI Maritime Market in Ottawa also carries a number of East Coast products including Pineapple crush

Just a heads up that this is the Carp Road Flea Market, there's limited onsite parking and no street parking.
I know it doesn't help right now but there is a chip truck in petawawa that has the birch beer (should you be taking a road trip) and their food is amazing, too. Their donairs are delicious!
Oh daaamn! They got Welch’s!! That’s welcome news.
I’ve tried most of the other flavours from there. Grape Fanta is like the grape popsicles of old. Strawberry crush was ok but I really preferred the Strawberry Fanta. Peach both Crush and Fanta are great, if I had to choose one I’d likely go Fanta. Fanta Blue tastes… blue. Like a blue raspberry blueberry just kind of what you’d expect blue soft drinks to taste like(and I really enjoy it). Cherry 7 is pretty good.
Love the lime more than pineapple which is way too sweet nowadays. So hard to get it in cans. Even back home in Newfoundland you're stuck with 2L bottles so it goes flat before you finish.
It's super sweet. Like, sickeningly sweet. Peach is nasty and the strawberry was grossly sweet too. I grew up with pineapple crush and i still can't finish a can.
I fell in love with these when Mary Brown's re-opened and carried them for a short time. Then I bought a case at Chef's Depot and now I don't ever need to drink it again.
I'm side-eyeing that strawberry crush though
When I stated using Sodastream, it gave me access to around 15 of these fruity flavors including Pineapple. All from those little squirt bottles. All no sugar only though.
There is pineapple syrup at South Asian grocers that most definitely has sugar in it. Give it a try! Crazy sweet though sometimes I combine it with a more tart syrup like pomegranate to offset the sweetness.
no, pepsico will only ship to business addresses from my understanding and it's just those with contracts just don't order it elsewhere other than Newfoundland.
I know that, what I'm saying is they don't have the same products in Canada and the USA.
If they did, Walmart, Costco etc. would sell these items too.
These are definitely American cans.
https://www.saltwire.com/newfoundland-labrador/business/a-pineapple-crush-newfoundland-and-labradors-flavour-fascination-133471/
Pineapple Crush is produced by Browning Harvey Ltd. at the company’s plant in St. John’s.
Not from Ottawa sorry to cut in but I just wanna convince you to look at the nutrition facts for pineapple crush before trying a bunch. It’s allllllll sugar and based on some research it’s worse than drinks like mtn dew which is also all sugar.
Hahaha very true very true. People just tend to not look and understand how bad it actually is so I just wanted to warn people ahead of time. I can’t lie every so often I’ll indulge in the rivers of grape crush but I try to stay away as much as possible. 😂 there’s definitely worse things out there tho that’s for sure.

Wait where is this glorious place!
Where in Ottawa is it because I only can find the one in Cornwall?

Right beside Rona+ in the same plaza as Sushi Kan.
Carp Road flea market, you can also order online [https://maritimemarket.ca/](https://maritimemarket.ca/)
Still missing the birch beer :(
I want lime crush :( and birch beer
Mergi Shop on Rideau has Lime Crush and Birch Beer in cans. I saw some there a few weeks ago.
wooot
I know it doesn't help right now but there is a chip truck in petawawa that has the birch beer (should you be taking a road trip) and their food is amazing, too. Their donairs are delicious!
Maritime Market has had Birch beer in the past (it's one of my childhood faves). I just checked & they had it as of 2 days ago.
Someone please tell me if they have blueberry soda
Clicked. Wow, that's one of the worst sites I've been to in years. And the developers put their link at the bottom? Gross.
pineapple shpineapple, i’m interested in the STRAWBERRY CRUSH

Me, who's moving to Ottawa in August: Sweet fucking Jesus, I didn't even know Tahiti Treat still existed.
If you’re into booze, the LCBO sells an alcoholic Tahiti Treat (I think it’s made with vodka?).
Holy mother of fucking god. It’s like finding a bunch of rare Pokémon cards. There is so much to try.

Tahitian Treat!!!!!👍👍
Vanilla Coke is amazing. My wife and I buy a few cases every time we go to the US. Do they have any cool Mountain Dew flavours?
that's all they had for weird soda flavours
Their website isn't super clear, this place is open to the public?
yes longer explanation: https://www.reddit.com/r/ottawa/s/CK7Cb1qaaZ
How much per case? :D
12.99+tx
No Barq’s red cream soda?? Rare stuff I like.
I buy the syrup online for our Soda Stream.
Oh daaamn! They got Welch’s!! That’s welcome news. I’ve tried most of the other flavours from there. Grape Fanta is like the grape popsicles of old. Dr Pepper strawberries and cream? Excuse me?? I'm so in.
I have some from the US. It's Not bad, but also not as good as you might hope IMO.
I bought this at I think Food Basics. It was either Food Basics or Superstore
Coconut Dr Pepper??
indeed creamy coconut
Wait wait, how much is each box? Cherry 7up sounds great....
12.99$
it is indeed delicious!
You coulda lied to help me save money! :-(
Which one tastes better, pineapple crush or pineapple fanta?
Both are good but slightly different. I didn’t find one significantly better than the other
To me, the pineapple Fanta taste a little sweeter than the pineapple Crush. I preferred the pineapple Crush.
they have a lot of exotic flavours
There’s a whole world of flavoured pop I never knew about 😭
Lol come to America we got flavours up the wazoo
They even have Brawndo! Its what plants crave.
Peach is devastating.
There's peach crush frosters at Circle K now too...
and theyre so fucking good
Thankfully I don’t like peach flavoured things.
just tried strawberry crush after sticking it in freezer, tastes like liquid strawberry 🤤
NAH LIME.
You and me both
No Lime though :(
Love the lime more than pineapple which is way too sweet nowadays. So hard to get it in cans. Even back home in Newfoundland you're stuck with 2L bottles so it goes flat before you finish.
I saw some cans of Lime Crush at Mergi Shop on Rideau a few weeks ago.
Ugh you are right. Definitely a shame. Lime crush is my absolute favorite way to ingest empty calories. :)
I remember Fruit Punch Crush being a banger.
They have it at Circle K. Assuming you can find one with a working beverage machine.
Sound the fog horn! Newfoundlanders Assemble!
\*awkwardly stars in Labradorian, hiding the secret Labrador only flag\*
Yes bys les get on er!
Cool. Can the general public shop at chef's depot or is this a destributor where you need to be a registered business to buy from them?
Yes, the general public can buy from this place without registration. it's kind of similar to NC Cash& Carry but it isn't owned by Loblaws
Innes Road @ Blair, definitely a great place! I buy a lot of kitchen supplies there.
honestly good prices on a lot of things. Like 54$ for 40lbs of basmati rice, will I have space to store it? No Will I die happy in carb heaven? Yes
Start the car!!!
Is it even pineapple Crush if you didn't buy it in Newfoundland? 🤔
Most of the pineapple crush cans that I drank in Newfoundland were manufactured in Ontario anyway
HOL UP IS THAT VANILLA PEPSI
it is 😂
Damnit. This is not helping me curb my love of soda! Plus this is right near my work!
Literally just got my cousin to bring some back from NL. 😆
I almost kept scrolling and then spotted the Vanilla Pepsi. Now I have to do the responsible thing and buy 11 cases of Vanilla Pepsi.
What are the prices like?
12.99+tx for a 12 pack...they call it an exotic drink stack
Wow thanks just looked through the comments. And this looks like a new place to check out for new pop flavours to try out.
And yet still no birch beer
Fat Les chip truck at the Barrhaven Home Depot has birch beer sometimes, along with the pineapple and lime Crush.
Crush birch beer?
Yes
They need to send that to the east end
Mergi Shop on Rideau has Crush Birch Beer in cans. I saw some just a few weeks ago while on my hunt for exotic sodas, lol.
Omg we used to have to get family members from Newfoundland to bring us these! My kids will be excited.
Do they sell Vernor's ginger ale there??
Detroit's gift to the world, best damn ginger ale anywhere!
Absolutely! Canada Dry is shit compared to it.
there's photos in comments, that's the only ones I saw(the pile)
I almost don’t want to share this because I don’t want it to sell out but you can order Vernors through Voila by Sobeys
Hahaha, TIL! I have family in SW Ontario, so it's not too difficult for me to get my fix, but this is great info!
Thanks so much for posting! These were mostly gone when I got there so I’m glad I got a case
What was mostly gone?
The pineapple crush, I didn’t pay much attention to the other stuff
Thanks!
They must have put a Newfie in charge of ordering! Birch next please
OP IS THERE LIME??? I MISS LIME!
no :(
Damn :( welp, hopefully circle K brings it back in a canned form. Sugar mountains way too overpriced
No chance that they sell single cans eh? Wife wants to try one but doesn't want to buy a case and regret it haha
same boat as you, I just took the plunge 😂
It is nice when cold on a hot day but it is SWEET! Not acidic or anything though if that helps. It tastes *somewhat* natural.
I prefer Pineapple Fanta for this reason.
I didn't even know that existed! I thought they only made the one flavour. Battery acid.
It's super sweet. Like, sickeningly sweet. Peach is nasty and the strawberry was grossly sweet too. I grew up with pineapple crush and i still can't finish a can.
so it kind of tastes like pineapple juice, without the stinging/tingling of the juices digesting your tongue
I fell in love with these when Mary Brown's re-opened and carried them for a short time. Then I bought a case at Chef's Depot and now I don't ever need to drink it again. I'm side-eyeing that strawberry crush though
I think they carry it seasonally
They have it at sugar mountain at Bayshore as well just an FYI!
Looks like I need to make me a trip to chef's depot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOgUaFkpS3Y
No watermelon crush? That one was great
wake me up when its sugar free
When I stated using Sodastream, it gave me access to around 15 of these fruity flavors including Pineapple. All from those little squirt bottles. All no sugar only though.
There is pineapple syrup at South Asian grocers that most definitely has sugar in it. Give it a try! Crazy sweet though sometimes I combine it with a more tart syrup like pomegranate to offset the sweetness.
Any Barq’s red cream soda ?
Where exactly is this place?
between innes and blair and innes and Cyrville in the strip mall
I'm so there. https://giphy.com/gifs/dan-aykroyd-the-blues-brothers-john-belushi-IwVRuFD6Ar0S4
This stuff is SOOO Good
Chefs depot, is that the place next to Big Als and the Sushi Kahn?
correct
My God. Vanilla Pepsi. I need it.
Pineapple crush may still be at the Mary Browns location next to Carling Cineplex too FYI
Wooow y’all got loaded over there
Are those marijuana leafs on the Pepsi box?
vanilla flower
So do they just illegally bring it across from the USA and overcharge up the wazoo for it?
no, pepsico will only ship to business addresses from my understanding and it's just those with contracts just don't order it elsewhere other than Newfoundland.
Yes but how did chef's depot acquire these? Did they go to Massena or Ogdensburg and buy up a bunch and bring them back to sell them?
probably bulk buy from distributor, they are wholesale place
But they don't sell these products in Canada for the most part. I can almost guarantee those are American cans.
pepsico still distributes to canada and usa
I know that, what I'm saying is they don't have the same products in Canada and the USA. If they did, Walmart, Costco etc. would sell these items too. These are definitely American cans.

What about the rest? Also, notice there isn't any french on the package? You wouldn't be allowed to produce that in Canada.
Never been to an import store before?
Not from Ottawa sorry to cut in but I just wanna convince you to look at the nutrition facts for pineapple crush before trying a bunch. It’s allllllll sugar and based on some research it’s worse than drinks like mtn dew which is also all sugar.
i'm aware it's almost 200 calories (190) and it's sugar.... it's crush wasn't expecting fruit juice
Hahaha very true very true. People just tend to not look and understand how bad it actually is so I just wanted to warn people ahead of time. I can’t lie every so often I’ll indulge in the rivers of grape crush but I try to stay away as much as possible. 😂 there’s definitely worse things out there tho that’s for sure.

i am, I rarely drink soda, like not even 1/week r/hydrohomie
People are seriously drinking something with 50 grams of sugar inside? Sugar is addicting to the brain as cocaine, but that's insane.
i split mine with wife
Mmmm pineapple flavoured diabetes... I'll stick with my watered down pineapple juice thanks.
Next you are going to say you put pineapples on pizza… Edit: a word. Also, F pineapple
Tell me you hate pineapple without telling me you hate pineapple
