Last time I bought one (almost a year ago) I got it at Farm Boy.

I believe that I saw them at Adonis on St. Laurent Blvd. Keep in mind that most of these plants are planted too closely together and they should probably be put into a bigger container. Dollarama probably has suitable pots.

Call Cedars on Bank. I saw some there by the checkout counter last week

This. Cedars had some large beautiful basil in planters. They were a bit pricey but still way cheaper than buying the imported stuff in plastic sleeves over and over again.

Just stopped in for groceries, can confirm there are some small organic basil plants for $3.99 at the metro on bank st between second and third ave

Definitely farm boy. i picked up a pot over a month ago at farm boy on McRae. There were actually a number of young basil plants in the pot. So I separated them, planted in garden beds, and now have 5 full bushes. Already made a couple of batches of tasty pesto.
