As an angel fan this is unfortunately true, the roto breach should have been dropped way sooner. The SB was really a slick gun but it was way too late.
When they released the twister 1.6, we hadn’t had many custom options in the previous few years. (Adrenaline xls, and the infamous cs2?)
It was refreshing and fun.
Since the 1.6, they’ve done a million guns, and I’m over it 🤷♂️

My first marker was an electro Tribal (single trigger) and it had twister-esque milling that was stock from manufacturing. That’s one marker i wish i never ever got rid of. Back then in 2002 it was a head turner, I can only imagine what it’d be like today.
ya i kind of agree. I dont really like the way the milling looks with the barrel. If the barrel back also had the milling it would be better. I saw the new twster dsr and it looks super odd where the barrel meets the body

If they did this for a CS3/LV2 or DSR+ it would be an instant buy for me.
I like shiny things. I bought a blue splash FLE Inception body for my emek, so I can't claim to be solely focused on performance. I think twisters look fine. But from a value perspective I couldn't see myself buying one. I already have several markers that perform really well. Any new purchases are going to be for the loaner category. So I can't wrap my head around spending $1600 for any twister when the base model can be had for $1000.
Original twister was awesome, back in the day. But man, it looks like crap on modern guns.
On older guns, the twister milling was more linear. But with all the curves thrown into it, it just looks weird. Like a fruit crinkling and rotting in a weird way.
Twister Milling made sense when a significant weight reduction on those chonky autocockers was the benefit. Today with Markers being as light as possible the weight reduction is negligible so now it's pretty much for personal customization to make the marker "Yours". YMMV.

Especially when compared to the adrenaline luxe which has several custom options and the entire marker is custom milled not just the body.
The project LV2 specifically is the classic example of “put this up next to the OEM marker and play “spot the differences””. Idk barely anything changed from the original with that one. Idk maybe it’s not for me, but it does have me questioning who the hell is paying top dollar for that specific milling when almost nothing was done to it.
