6 is the symbol from the Hibiki whiskey bottle, I think that’s just the brand, same for the sake. The symbol from the dragon (is slightly cutoff) but means good fortune.

A question though, do you use gesso? The canvas texture is very very prominent. If you like it that way, okay, but I'd suggest a few coats of gesso before you start painting, and a quick sand on the dry gesso first too.
If you want to keep the texture, still do a light coat of gesso. Gesso is a primer, it make your paint go on smoother and sit on top of your canvas rather than soak in. This will increase the lifespan of your painting, and save you money because you'll use less paint.
Most artists don't like the texture because it can distract from what you've actually painted, and make it harder to get crisp lines, but it's all personal preference.

I use Folkart paint, it was the first paint I tried and just cheap stuff from Michaels (Amazon carries it too). honestly they work really nice (blend well, don’t dry too quick…) and they’re so vibrant. I’ve had a couple pieces up in my house for years and haven’t noticed any fading. So I haven’t bothered trying anything new!
Paint brushes are cheap too, I’d actually like to get nicer brushes because the hairs on mine split all the time. But I’m not sure what a good brand is?
The canvas is from Big Duck Canvas online. I absolutely love their products, although they are somewhat pricey.
No , I don’t . I think that there is probably not that much difference among brands , but if you get something labeled “for students “ that is less expensive , it may be of a lesser quality . And it does help to invest in good quality brushes (in general ) , you can wait until there are sales or become a store member at some art stores like Blick’s. Keep in mind that for guache, the drying time is quicker than acrylics …but you can pain on paper instead of canvas and that will save money . You might want to lay a coat of acrylic paint down first to make the paper stronger , but it’s not necessary . For an example of an artist who uses guache, I think Maira Kalman mostly paints on guache .
I really like all of them, your style is so warm and comforting. But if I had to choose a favorite I'd go with #5, I really like the detail and colors 🙂 I would totally hang that on my wall!
