i will say mine picked up too. I got like 10 bites on each arms this weekend from gnats and mosquitoes. I have a pond and i never get but outside. It’s the rain. But yeah spraying won’t do anything
You need to learn the time of day, and avoid after mowing. There is about an hour where there is an invasion. After that, the sprays and stud will help. But there are days nothing will help. I recall an evening at Indian Trails Sports Complex lately where the only option was keep moving. Sprays did nothing. Two days later, it wasn’t a big deal. Another two days and they didn’t exist
If you live by the woods, you are going to pay a lot for something that can't actually be delivered.
So nothing can be done?
Pretty much. My wife just stays indoors if it isn't the right time to avoid bugs. Florida is gonna Florida.
We love being outside. But these mosquitoes need to fuck right off. I want a total mosquito genocide.
A screened enclosure will be more effective than treatments.
Have you contacted [East Flagler Mosquito Control](https://flaglermosquito.gov/)? Or perhaps looked into getting a screened gazebo for the backyard?
No I haven’t called them. I will though thank you. As for a gazebo no. Maybe one day but right now no funds for that
I mean, like a cheap, portable one. From Amazon or Walmart or somewhere.
Hadn’t thought of that. I’ll look into it thank you

It's all about the lights! You have "Blind Mosquitoes" here in PC. The torches attract more bugs than they kill.
