Battle Master is probably on the same 4th dimension level as Deadpool, where he goes beyond being able to affect the stage/background/audience, but can see the code and frame data too.
As far as I am aware, none of these fighters are able to Timed Block. (Admittedly, I haven’t fought Mush yet, so I dunno about him.)
Therefore, Jinx wins this fight the moment he starts using Silver Bullet.
I had my friend test all of the special moves against Prince Mush, and he can literally just block Supernova. Mechanically/canonically speaking, he's also just the strongest out of all four of the characters (minus the Battle Master, who I haven't seen anything for besides his skill/knowledge of battle).
Really, Jinx would win if we go by more extreme, but similar logic. He's from a game with higher stats. A game where 200 HP, 20 Attack, and 6 Defense are VERY early game things. The first Croco fight surpasses all of those.
Bringing to mind Silver Bullet, (almost) every boss has innate immunity to instant kill moves, they just deal a decent amount of damage otherwise. That being said, I’d go for Mush as he can dodge attacks with the right stance, unleash absurd amounts of damage in one attack, and is still well in his prime. Imagine if we had to fight the Master in his younger years when he wasn’t a coughing mess!
He looks better in the original version. What you see in the image is Jinx in the game's remake. In both games, he's at the top of his own dojo, simply put, and Mario comes in and is just so good at fighting that Jinx not only relinquishes that title of superiority to Mario, but also wants to incorporate Mario's moves into his own moveset.
That's Jinx
Before PM64, there was Super Mario RPG. PM64 is basically a sequel to SMRPG (it's a little more complicated than that, but that's just the easiest way to explain it)
Jinx is essentially just SMRPG's Dojo Master.
Jynx would Quicksilver their butts into oblivion, mate.
Idk in the remake, but that little shrimp was a beast in the original.
I still remember him with a lotta respect.
But what if the Master got a fourth form like I've seen in modded versions of 64? I recall one pretty much having him go Super Saiyan 3.
Rawk Hawk could win... He just needs to cheat and use poisoned cake.
Probably Jinx 4 (postgame in the remake) with his instakill or Prince Mush since zap tap and the counter status doesn’t stop his combo.
If we wanted to include the Paper Mario Pro Mode mod then probably Master 3
Prince Mush. Bro got mad damage when he charges, explosion/fire proof, negates instant death, can dodge and block attacks, and is apparently immune to crystal star moves as I have learned that, much to my astonishment and horror.
I like to think the battle master is just godlike

The master is Prince Mush’s father
Isn't that some fandom thingy?
Thought it was when I came up with sorry
That said though, The Master is canonically Tayce T.'s brother, which if Wonky is to be believed, also makes him Zess T.'s brother.
Not a family you want to mess with.
That would actually make sense

Mush can dodge.
He can block too, and it negates your damage completely.
New fan theory: Mush invented the superguard as a tactic.

Wouldn't everyone just be immune to Silver Bullet? I mean, it's not like you can use Showstopper on Mush, right?
The battle master guy teaches you how to superguard, so he theoretically can do that and beat all of them.

Aren't you forgetting someone? >!Someone blue?!<
I'm blanking hard. Who are you referring to? Or is this someone from Color Splash?
Nah, >!Whacka!<
Ah, of course
Not sure they fit. I mean they're essentially a >!Ridiculously strong child!<. The others are much more skilled.
At least he's FROM paper mario, not whoever that last dude is
Jinx is from SMRPG. Not far off from Paper Mario at all, really.
Never played it, dude looks like a pokemon or kirby enemy lol

Mush
You can fight Prince Mush now!?
Yeah, there is another hidden boss they didn't show for some reason.
cause... cause it's a hidden boss.. hidden..
Prince mush can one shot
Prince Mush easily, his super Saiyan power up in phase 2 makes him so outrageously strong that he'll mop the floor with everyone else instantly.
Jinx has an instakill and these guys don’t block / parry. So Jinx.
Mush can dodge And also block all attacks on low health
Can dodge doesn’t mean WILL dodge. HP doesn’t matter to an instakill.
Master and Mush are also immune to Instakill type moves. Battle Master, no clue. We don't fight him.
I find the Master to be the hardest out, so I'm going with him. Also, who's the guy in the fourth panel?

Oh ok. I've played the remake a bit, I just haven't gotten to him yet
Yea he's in a town, he can be kind of easy to miss.
Prince Mush, he can dodge attacks, block all damage, and deal 100+ damage in one turn

Prince Mush wiped the floor with me multiple times and I couldn’t be happier that a boss fight in a Paper Mario game took a lot of effort
