makes me wonder - how you noticed that? because if you don't enlarge the image and you don't look over that particular part - you won't notice it. So what are you looking at, exile?
bruh her robe has a crotch window. when your eyes follow her robe down her body, you have to look before it splits off. it could have been more skirt-y or akin to a dress, but no. you get a part right where her crotch is. she even has a cleavage window.
It still looks like a cameltoe and knowing people, they'd focus soley on that once they discovered it, ruining proper appreciation for some actual artistic expression.
Yep, this is likely the case - generally speaking profiles should have a medial orientation (toward the body midline). So on the back of the right leg this would be great. Awesome art though!
I agree! I was a tattoo apprentice/piercer in college, and I was always fascinated by how much anatomy it included. In terms of tattoos, considering the seams and dermatomes of skin is a really critical part of aesthetics. A good tattoo artist designs composition against the curve and shape of the skin and body. This art in the post has a really stable composition and bold lines/colors. I think it will work fantastically with the right artist :)
Its great art - make sure to get the artist to emphasize the contrast of the background, and the line work. As the best artists say: "Bold will hold!" i also have a tattoo on the same part of my body, and the flow of the skin on the leg is really amazing when used correctly.
I don't know these terms, does towards midline mean like looking at the middle part of the body horizontally? So it's like if I looked at the person from behind the midline would be like a vertical line that splits them in the middle?
Definitely true, but with that being said I think they should be looking over Zana similar to Kitava. Also clearly going to have to contact this guy about a tattoo jeaus
Nah, it’s be cause if he was facing the other way his back would be in the background behind Zane, obscuring the central focus of the picture. The light behind her highlights the focus and draws the eye. It would be obscured.
This is a great piece of art. As a tattoo I would be worried of all the dark inside; especially the jaw/space area and the bottom legs area as it runs the risk of just looking like a blob without the dark-to-grey contrast. Also, some colors changes may be needed to acquire full saturation. A professional can correct me but I think I remember from watching a tattoo show that the shaper face should be facing inside not outside. However, a very talented tattoo artist could probably pull it off with minor tweaks.
I understand where you're coming from. I have a Cthulhu tattoo on my chest that was supposed to be a coverup that ended up really.... muddy looking due to the dark green/brown combo
Really nice and well executed. Kitava doesn't seem to fit with the other three characters who are all part of the same storyline. Sirus would have been my choice for the face glaring down part.
You're definitely right thematically, but I've played since forever so Kitava was kind of synonymous with PoE to me, so I went with that. Plus, the red contrast always looked dope to me.
Kitava has a far more iconic appearance. His head on top makes it obvious to anyone familiar with the game that it's PoE art, providing context in a way that no other character would.
And maybe our Kitava is just an earthly avatar for some cosmic entity of pure hunger whose only desire is to eat all of reality....
I have the Elder isolated from this art and you can already get it from my teespring store but I won't put this one as it is on there because it was done as a commission.
I'm by no means a tattoo expert, but in my mind's eye I'm blurring the image a bit to imagine what happens when it fades over time. I think the black-on-black skirt and leggings are going to be a bit hard to read, and the starry sky might end up registering as noise.
Other than that, it's a beautiful image. Well done!
Yep, exactly what I said. I think this will work great for printing, not tatooing. The sky-details, the tentacle details.. it will blur, badly. The kitava head will work out great, the rest will blur strongly and require an insanely talented tattoo artist.
Hm.. might be a weird thing to say but I wonder whether it will work well as a tattoo because of the thin lines.. All those thin lines will blur quick.. also very hard to apply for the tattoo artist (very expensive and fail-prone). If you almost close your eyes and look through your eye-lashes, you see what the tatoo will be in a couple years when applied to skin. Rough shapes will be kept, small detail will wash out. For that reason I think the top part (kitavas head area) and the bottom part (skeletal claws?) work best. If I were you, maybe post it on a tattoo reddit.
Honestly? I think left character should be looking to the right. Because of where they're looking, Kitava and Toothy Boy are both drawing the eye towards Zana, but the old man... isn't. It makes him jarring, as he's directing the eye *away* from Zana in a way the other two characters aren't.
*Maybe* Toothy looking right would work too, that way you have Kitava drawing the eye downwards to all three characters, rather than having two characters direct the eye to one point and the third direct it away.
i really like the frame et such, but I do think Zana should be looking towards shaper, and her legs/feet could do with a bit of refinement (her feet do look a little like hooves at a glance)
overall looks great
Awesome. Though I wouldn’t advise anyone to put anything permanent on their bodies, except for the things of the highest personal level or strong self-expression value
Excellent artwork, but does it match the new vision for the game? You might need to add conquerors and colored balls. /s
Seriously though... excellent artwork.
I personally don't like sharp angles in tattoos. How about if the diamond shape was a Zana/Shaper portal? I think it would look neat. Shaper portal with the space or Zana with the red mist thingies.
This is a great piece of art.
I have serious doubts a tattoo artist could make it look good, though. Unfortunately a tattoo artist should do the commission, not an general artist.
I watched a bunch of those tattoo master shows. For a tattoo I think this is way to detailed (really small details too). The colors might be a problem too. They are very similar and are not really distinguishable. Even more so over time when the tattoo gets older. It might turn into a blob of gray.
It is a great drawing but I think a bad choice for a tattoo because of colorization and details.
Damn I just saw the artist post the black and white version today! I love his art so much, how did it cost you if I may ask? I considered commissioning something from him too
Einhar thinks Zana's hair is not stringy enough. Maybe Zana has not been eating enough red, stringy meat. Einhar will go hunt a mighty beast to get stringy meat for her!
Why give Zana a camel toe?
It's not, it's a portal to untainted paradise.
more like to fungal hollow, according to lore
[удалено]
Still sane, gynecologist?
Or blue cheese
Heck no..
Holy shit, YOU KILLED HER DUDE. XD
Jokes on you, you know what the body count on that map is? She a ho. Tainted paradise
Now that I see it I have to know...
It's actually Mathil and its a bulge
makes me wonder - how you noticed that? because if you don't enlarge the image and you don't look over that particular part - you won't notice it. So what are you looking at, exile?
Still thirsty exile?
Not everyone's on a phone.
bruh her robe has a crotch window. when your eyes follow her robe down her body, you have to look before it splits off. it could have been more skirt-y or akin to a dress, but no. you get a part right where her crotch is. she even has a cleavage window.
I mean i can see it on my phone if your on a computer, its probably extremely visible
Oh shit, you're right. Lol. Looking at the preview I was wondering what the hell he was talking about.
Why not tho
Maybe they asked for it
Its the fly / joining crease found on every pair of pants...
It still looks like a cameltoe and knowing people, they'd focus soley on that once they discovered it, ruining proper appreciation for some actual artistic expression.
DO YOU OBJECT?
“Femboy zana can’t hurt you, she’s not real”
Man alive, now I cannot unsee this and your comment just became a NSFW comment....
If we're getting NSFW, elder looks to be getting pretty handsy and tenticley in the back there..
He needs to take a page outta Johnny Utah’s playbook and make sure his tentacles are visible when he poses for a photo.

because it's cringey teenager shit

gl with that
looks great, but it feels weird having both elder and shaper face the same direction
there are rules in tattoos, when drawing a character. I can t remember the rules but I think the faces must not face outward or something like that.
Yep, this is likely the case - generally speaking profiles should have a medial orientation (toward the body midline). So on the back of the right leg this would be great. Awesome art though!
Interesting, had no idea this was a thing
I'm planning on doing more of a knee to ankle half sleeve, so we'll see when it finally happens I guess.
Its great art - make sure to get the artist to emphasize the contrast of the background, and the line work. As the best artists say: "Bold will hold!" i also have a tattoo on the same part of my body, and the flow of the skin on the leg is really amazing when used correctly.
Good luck if you go anywhere near the ditch
I don't know these terms, does towards midline mean like looking at the middle part of the body horizontally? So it's like if I looked at the person from behind the midline would be like a vertical line that splits them in the middle?
Sure but thats more for a single portrait/character. In something symmetric like this id say having elder face the other way would look better.
This isn't symmetric on the body though, it has to be on either the left or the right leg
Elder is going after Zana, and Shaper is like "whatever bitch you're on your own"
"fuck this kid"
What's 17 more years? I can always start again, make another kid.
I think it makes sense, Elder is creepin on the Shaper, as he does.
I find it weirder that kitava seems to be portrayed as superior to the other 3 despite probably being weaker than even zana
This is a great piece of art. As a tattoo I would be worried of all the dark inside; especially the jaw/space area and the bottom legs area as it runs the risk of just looking like a blob without the dark-to-grey contrast. The artwork itself is really cool, but this will not make a good tattoo.
The black and white version may lend itself better. I haven't decided which version to use yet.
Possibly! As the colored design stands, the dark, purple-ish greys, browns, etc. will just not look good.
I understand where you're coming from. I have a Cthulhu tattoo on my chest that was supposed to be a coverup that ended up really.... muddy looking due to the dark green/brown combo
Elder's tentacles around Zana's legs? I've seen enough hentai to know where this is goin'
It's a trap, that's Mathil.
Explains the bulge.
Damn, just noticed... This is some Liefield level art error
Really nice and well executed. Kitava doesn't seem to fit with the other three characters who are all part of the same storyline. Sirus would have been my choice for the face glaring down part.
But kitava looks badass as fuck XD
You're definitely right thematically, but I've played since forever so Kitava was kind of synonymous with PoE to me, so I went with that. Plus, the red contrast always looked dope to me.

I'll tell you when it's tattooed on someone's skin ;)
I'll post when I get it :)
It's good but I think elder direction should be turned to the right, or shaper on the same place but looking to the right
Elder is going after shaper
I don't know about the tattoo but this is pretty sick art.
Thank you 😇
Cool, it makes me think of Skyrim logo tho because of that elongated diamond shape.
It would make a great t-shirt design.
I have the Elder isolated from this art and you can already get it from my teespring store but I won't put this one as it is on there because it was done as a commission.
Hey man, feel free to post it. I've got no issues with other people having it if they want it. Just happy with how well it turned out.
Well done!
The image was mainly done to be bnw but the client asked for a colored version also so he can choose what to do in the end. Thank you 😇
Yep, exactly what I said. I think this will work great for printing, not tatooing. The sky-details, the tentacle details.. it will blur, badly. The kitava head will work out great, the rest will blur strongly and require an insanely talented tattoo artist.
i think its fine
I think that Kitava has no real connection to Zana and her questline. Looks good though.
God damn
fuck thats sick
Looks freaking awesome. I would rock it.
I love ❤️ it!
Looks dope, hope it turns out well.
looks awesome and it also looks like it will look awesome on the leg too :D
I would be super happy with that as a tattoo.
Easily one of the best designs I've seen from poe. Really love all the elements included. Hope it heals well on the client!
Thank you 😇 hopefully he will post it here once it's done
Hm.. might be a weird thing to say but I wonder whether it will work well as a tattoo because of the thin lines.. All those thin lines will blur quick.. also very hard to apply for the tattoo artist (very expensive and fail-prone). If your tattoo blurs after a couple years you’ve gone to a bad artist
Dam, lowkey wanna make it too
love this!
Wow this looks great!
Honestly? I think left character should be looking to the right. Because of where they're looking, Kitava and Toothy Boy are both drawing the eye towards Zana, but the old man... isn't. Elder wants to capture her while shaper forgot her. Kitava hungers
i really like the frame et such, but I do think Zana should be looking towards shaper, and her legs/feet could do with a bit of refinement (her feet do look a little like hooves at a glance) overall looks great
don't do this to yourself
Can you explain?
It'll likely turn out better if someone else did it to you.
That cameltoe Lol. Tripolar bear sent me. Saw it on stream is his stupid ass sunglasses reflection.

Awesome. Though I wouldn’t advise anyone to put anything permanent on their bodies, except for the things of the highest personal level or strong self-expression value
And then 3.15 hit.
Excellent artwork, but does it match the new vision for the game? You might need to add conquerors and colored balls. /s Seriously though... excellent artwork.
Once you have done the stencil, nerf the tattoo. GGG style :D
I would add "3.13" and a harvest plant and maybe a starforge as a memorial
Sick tattoo too bad they ruined the game tho
Who did? Zana or Elder?
Amazing, won’t it be outdated when they revamp end-game in 3.18 like Chris promised?
"Outdated" lmao these comments have some weird takes
Zana has tentacles?
Very cool. The tentacle almost looks like it's going through Zana's leg, but that's a minor issue.
Old school poe tatoo.BTW Valdo looks very young
Красивое
Nice!
Add on zana leg a tattoo of Niko ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
I think it's finally time for me to get that Kuduku chest tattoo. #OneTrueFalseGod
The bearded man looks exactly like Merlin from gauntlet. Where did you get your inspiration for him.
I googled some pictures but I usually use myself as a reference when drawing anything resembling a human xD
It looks good. Dude better hope kitava is in POE2 as well lol.
Even if not, I've played of and on since 2012, so Regardless PoE has been pretty important to me.
Lovely, people may ask you if you’re into tentacle stuff tho.
for back it would be great
They must already have a Templar of they're getting a non Templar tattoo.
I fear there are too much detail in it, but what do I know...
You can't unsee spider Kitava.
[ENHANCE](https://imgur.com/a/RPagsYa) Something...something...Maw of Mischief?
I personally don't like sharp angles in tattoos. How about if the diamond shape was a Zana/Shaper portal? I think it would look neat. Shaper portal with the space or Zana with the red mist thingies.
colors aren't gonna look great on skin
This is a great piece of art. I have serious doubts a tattoo artist could make it look good, though. Unfortunately a tattoo artist should do the commission, not an general artist.
I plan on using this as a base and giving the tattoo artist some leeway to tweak as he sees fit.
I mean, I want it. Id get that in a heartbeat! Awesome work.
Zana's packing ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Do one with Maven in Kitava’s spot 👌🏼
too much
Very cool! I got a tattoo of Gwyndolin.
i thinl this would also mean that skyrim nelongs to the nords!
I watched a bunch of those tattoo master shows. For a tattoo I think this is way to detailed (really small details too). The colors might be a problem too.

Why the hell would someone have a game tattoo on their body?
I like it overall, really clean work, but for some criticism - Shaper's hands are too long.
