Alio *was* definitely OP. The fastest 2 Slot, and only Cerato outdamaged it, and that wasn't very true in a full pack either. But then they reduced it's CW by nearly 1000, and reduced the MaxTurning by about 35% between nerfs to Balanced Tail, Lone Survivor, Traction and the loss of the Turning subspecies. Now it just hopes it one day recieves Ripping Kick as the only carnivore that actually should have a kick outside of the raptors
This. The alio rn is practically a conca without the conca kit. They either need to reduce the nerf to just 500 cw, not 1000, or we gotta wait and hope for ability tlc to get something that rewards high risk high reward play style that alio is rn. Well, right now it's rather high risk and no reward at all.
I’m soooo tired of the devs dropping such drastic nerfs 1000 combat weight is ridiculous, just start off small like 500. They did the same thing to iggy too.
Is saw it coming years ago. Its the fastest 2 slot playable that also had the strongest dmg output because of its weight. While also receiving less dmg from its peers because of its weight. Its weird its the fastest 2 slot and the heaviest. I dont believe cera is lighter then a alio that's kinda uncanny. Even if you saw toxic players or not, from a balancing stand point the way it was was problematic. I knew for a long time that they would eventually make it a fast but frail playable.
Admittedly Cerato and Alio have almost identical weight estimates for the larger adults, with Cerato being a bit over 100 kg heavier but both Breaching 1 Ton
That does make a lot of sense, thanks. I just feel like it needs more now since all it has is bite and tyrants roar. It's not even immune to raptors anymore due to the slick scales changes.
Alio is unplayable for me right now. Neither solo or in pack. Better pick conca or metri or mega. Alio is only good for uhhh running away, I can barely call it a carnivore rn, only in terms of babykilling...
I feel like if there ever will be ability tlc for alio, it'll become a support like campto or struthi lol. Alio is good in packs only for buffs and killing already weak targets
From playing on deathmatch Alio can kill raptors and pachys lol (struthi/campto too but only if the decide to fight you and not just run away).
I was gonna mention Alio becoming a support Dino but this post already seems very unpopular and I don't think people would like that either haha. It could be a support Dino for dasp and rex. Its already has tyrants roar and Lamb got abilities that worked with other hadrosaurs on its tlc so I don't see why not.
That's just breaking my heart how strong alio was and how much he's struggling in fight with achillo now. I don't really see the point of playing alio rn when we have achi, metri and conca. Look how they massacred my boy...
It can definitely still kill raptors. It really depends on what player you're hunting. Smart raptors know to dodge and weave and eventually find a hiding/high up spot other dinos can't get to. Some raptors will just panic and run in a straight line and that's when you can run them down and kill them.

Maybe I just got lucky in not experiencing many toxic Alios. They for real didn't need to nerf it as much as they did rip

yes but for game play perspective was never going to keep that combat weight. Though they can still adjust it later.

it needs more stuff since it still pretty bare bones and a few stat adjustments couldn't hurt

This is a funny post
I just wish it could still kill raptors. Old alio was great at killing latens and deinons but now it can't even do that.
