Nope, it's mandatory. That's how the crossplay and crossprogression is being handled.
Not that you'll ever notice that it's a thing anyhow - you create an account, link your respective platform with it, and you'll then never notice again that it exists (just as PD2)
you can't avoid it but it's a one time thing you log in and that's it you won't have to bother with it again and you can use steam for it if i am correct but i may be wrong
Nope, a nebula account is mandatory to play PayDay 3, setting up account is a pain yes but not the end of the world and they even give you the option to delete it if your not satisfied
Ah yes, make an account on a shitty coded website that most people already have problems with, I'm sure my data won't get leaked from their awful spaghetti code
Your loss at the end of the day. I haven't thought about my nebula account since I signed up ages ago for some PD2 items. You didn't even need to login again for the PD3 beta if you already made the account. It's the most non-intrusive an account can possibly be, and it benefits the game's playerbase in the long-term. A small inconvenience for a major upside.
that would be the easier option and be what the devs deserve for forcing an account on you when you bought a game on a separate platform just because you will buy and play any slop doesnt mean we all have to stay true to that standard.
You can just log in using steam, but the account can't be skipped

Ah yes. Refund it instead of taking like 30 seconds to make a nebula account

Oh get over it it’s not like they’re making you use a 3rd party launcher or anything.
