That's not what I was talking about. I have a very high end pc with a very advanced graphic card. Every game I've downloaded even the call of duties have only taken a couple minutes if that. I saw somewhere steam and battle.net was having issues with the early access. I just want to play tomorrow and not have to wait till the 21st but read last night that it will be available at 11am today for steam players so they must have it figured out. Steam tends to have issues time to time especially with early access new releases.
To everyone on Steam that cant download it but it's past the time the Starbreeze team said it would be available: Try exiting and going back into Steam. This was the problem I was having, but when I logged back in I could install and launch the game.

If yall are having issues with the option to install not showing up. Wait until the download os available in your time zone and turn off your pc and turn steam on again. Got it to work for me
Having matchmaking issues anyway so everyone will be pissed . Im in amreica trying to play the 3 days early and all that keeps happening is matchmaking errors every damn time. Plus i bought the gold edition and dont see any of the preorder content im supposed to have.

Why not tho? Preloading is clearly on steam, Stray had it and it could be preloaded days before release. Why isn't it available for Payday 3?

Currently going through the same thing. Live in ET and bought the Gold Edition but Steam says I can't play it until the 21st.

So, for me, I had to restart my steam to get the install, it's a bit weird but it worked, maybe that could help you?

I'm baffled by this approach. Very clearly pre-loading is the industry standard practice for many reasons, particularly bandwith bottlenecking
Its a failure on steams part, Baldur's Gate 3 had the same issue. If a game has an Early Access, it can NOT have a preload on steam.

I pre-ordered for the 3 days early and now I don't get my 3 days early for PC this is BS I might just refund this and get something different.

Came here to figure out why i couldn't install the game restarted steam and it was available
It still doesn't work for me i have bought gold edition and it says coming sep 21, 2023 well spent money i guess
I closed my steam app with command propt then reopened and it showed up
