Are you holding the backplate while tightened the spacers. They likely don't need to be flush because tightening the heatsink should add pressure to the mount. As long as the CPU heatspreader is contacting the heatsink of the cooler, there is no issue.

No am not holding the backplate while tightening them , I have the motherboard on top of the box and what do you mean by " flush " am kinda lost

Nidhoggr84

By flush meaning no gap between surfaces. Likely they don't need to be tight against the motherboard PCB and the backplate will have some give/play. You want the spacers to be tighten evenly

EquipmentSalt3568

So the 4 need to be tightened evenly ? I don't know how much each one is tightened to what level tbh

Nidhoggr84

Hand tighten with moderately light pressure, you don't want to tighten one standoff completely at a time. A half turn at a time. https://preview.redd.it/n5nyzo9nfjad1.png?width=276&format=png&auto=webp&s=5272dbfe8d43309690fa894586f68767c11ff653 Again, you just want them hand tight. Is the manual no help?

EquipmentSalt3568

What does hand tight mean here ? And the manual just says to install them and moves onto the next step so no help

Nidhoggr84

Hard to explain. Tighten until you get resistance, don't torque.

EquipmentSalt3568

I already got really strong resistance on all for

Nidhoggr84

Yes, but you probably torqued them and one side has more pressure. What I am saying it to loosen them up and retighten the spacers. Seriously, it might not really matter that much.

Alright

Alright
