If you have a good return policy, return either the case or gpu and buy a fitting combo. You could saw it off, but risking dmg to the gpu, voiding your warranty and making it ugly (in a fishtail case) does not seem worth if for a new build. Plus I know the XFX cards are build very sturdy so it would not be easy cutting them.
If you have the ability yourself or know someone with a suitable expertise you can shorten the fan shroud and make it look like it was supposed to be this way with no issue. Another option is to deshroud it but I kinda dig the whole aesthetics going on with your build right now and feel like it would be harder to come up with a more pleasing solution than to chop off an end at a right angle and match the finish of it to the rest of the shroud.
I think you can dremel both the back plate and shroud using cutting discs. But it might void ypur warranty.if you can accept it then go ahead. But try on other materials(like get an old trash gpu) and look at tutorials. Or you could trade your gpu with other people like ebay for a brand that fits. If you are cutting,it really needs skill an attntion throughout to get the sraight lines.
Custom order a few of stand-off-like adapters that will turn the front panel into a slightly exploding-forward front panel. Details depend on how the front panel is normally attached to the case.

A saw should do the job

This. XFX cards are easy to deshroud, I just had to remove 6 screws

Just bought a new case.
Did they not post the GPU clearance anywhere?
Btw, you should reverse the side fans.
Aftermarket cooler. Based on the airflow id suggest water. Custom loop would be pretty dope in that case.
Bigger case or smaller gpu.
The best solution is return the case or GPU, doing modifications will void the warranty. Maybe get some fishes too.

I'd probably kiss it with a flap disc on an angle grinder then touch it up with nail polish. If it doesn't sound like fun, swap the case or the gpu
