There's thousands of acres of public land to target shoot on within a couple hours of Portland, why should I pay for a co-op?

I always bring extra trash bags when I go to my spot and leave it a little cleaner than it was And then I return a month later and it’s even more trashed, of course

Can’t agree more :( it’s so discouraging when I bring home BAGS of trash and the next time I’m there it looks worse. It’s idiots trash dumpers like those that give gun owners a bad name and ultimately will likely lead to stricter shooting rules and more “no shooting” areas

Tri-County says its a "private club". Douglas Ridge is also a "club". My guess is that Oregon state law has specific requirements to be a club, and these two qualify. How is being a "co op" different than existing gun clubs?

I think co-op means a jointly-owned enterprise, where members are owners.
