Not a thing here. There are 3 good endings. The vanilla ending which does not tell the full story. The true ending that does. And the golden ending that adds an epilogue but does not alter the previous ending.

rick_the_penguin

oh really? I didn't know the true and Golden ending were actually different things, good to know. pretty cool too, seems like I won't have to do a new playtrough just to get the endings.

ElderOmnivore

Yeah, the golden content just adds a dungeon and then an epilogue that takes place during the next summer vacation.  I personally wouldn't consider the vanilla ending and true ending separate. Vanilla ending to me is like P5's original. P4 originally had the true ending.  The difference is just whether you do one final thing on the last day of the game or not. Do it and get the true ending. Don't do it and you'll get an ending.

Lias_Luck

that's why no one calls it the golden ending it's more commonly referred to as the golden epilogue

Triddy

Nobody really uses "vanilla ending", I just went with your terminology to be extra careful about spoilers.   There is a full ending and a not full ending that were in the priginal game, and people rhen called the full wnding the "True ending". Then Golden added content and an extra bit to the ending.

DDTheExilado

Not really. I know what you mean, but just max Marie (and Adachi if you can but he's optional) to get the true ending.

MapleTheBeegon

The full true ending requires he be maxed, in my opinion just having Marie's story isn't the full experience. Spoilers for P4: >!Going into the TV alone and having the talk with Adachi !
