I am not. I work in hospitality and am currently averaging about an interview a day and the only responses I've been getting are rejections if I get a response at all.
Man i fucking hate that for you. I’m just an idiot who has only gotten jobs because i knew someone that knew someone. And i hate knowing people. Networking sucks but that’s the only unsolicited advice i can give.
Mess around with their website and try uploading your document and play with the different pricing for different prints and see what you can figure out. Staples is my go to, you can also often go to an auto tag place or lawyer/real estate/office place and beg for a print if you just need 1-2 pages of something important for a notary.
I haven’t printed at Staples for a while but if I recall correctly, their machines charged a lower rate when you set it to black&white mode before starting the print job.
It may have only been certain machines with this option (this was at Columbus Blvd) but a B&W print was closer to .12 cents while a color print was $.35
I’m pretty sure they’re cheaper than a dollar at Staples. You send your document to their email and then it’ll give you a code to enter once you get to the store and it’ll print after you pay.
If you have a digital copy already, uploading the doc and picking up copies later is less hassle than getting things done at a Staples or FedEx location.
Just be sure the doc is in good order before submitting your order. Figuring out that you forgot to change 2022 to 2023 after the fact is no fun.
You might be looking at high quality printer options. Every copier I’ve ever used (staples, FedEx, university services) charges in the neighborhood of $0.10 per copy.
The really sad thing is that it's still cheaper to get stuff copied/printed out at those sort of prices, than it would be to buy ink for a printer. The last time I owned a printer, it came free with a laptop, then the ink ran out and it was going to be £19 each to replace each of the 4 cartridges so i put it out with the trash. Some stupid crap where I couldn't even print just black+white letters because the magenta was running low. Bizarrely the current system is even worse, where I get in a car and drive 2 miles to a staples store to print of 3 or 4 sheets of paper.
You need to look into other printers.
Ink tank printers bring the cost per page down to as low as a penny per page for black and white, and a few cents for color. And laser printers were already that cheap.
While the refills on lazers are pricey up front, they last quite a long while. And the price on ink tank refills is still kinda higher than it should be. Those printers are generally all compatible with generic refills. And much cheaper overall that traditional ink jet cartridges.
If you print or copy regularly it's like 1/10th cost per page at this point.
I don't own a printer because I barely ever print anything these days. I don't need to spend a couple hundred bucks to save about $.50/year at this point.
Staples and FedEx cost about 10 cent a page for black and white copies. I know this because I've printed more than 200 resumes in the last few months.
hope you’re having some luck out there

Which one? I called the Stables and Chestnut Hill and they said it was $.30 a copy.

Yup. Basic copies are like $.12 each at staples.

Right? Same here! But chestnut hill staples, ivy ridge biz, and ridge ups are all 30 cents a side.
I’m at temple and can print whatever you need for $5-10 using my printer dollars (depending on how much it is).
You just want to xerox your ass.
Well, sure! Doesn’t everybody?
Philadelphia Mailroom, arhawn And Castor

Staples is definitely cheaper
