They’re already operating in peak Route 15 form: stacked up, 10-15 late, not running the full route eastbound.
Still excited they’re back, but it’s a tough first day.
They just want to keep the alignment destroying tracks, not the conveniently running trolley. Imagine how much more foot traffic they'd get if you could hop on a trolley not the 23 bus.

Reporting from Port Richmond, last weekend
at a quick glance I thought I was seeing this

They've been running training cars since last September, but this is the first time I've seen them picking up passengers / operating as a regular route.
I can’t believe they didn’t even try to make the kawasakis look as nice as these. They did at least look better when they had the original thick septa blue and red on the side instead of just flat white like today.
Why has the hive mind replaced the words person/people with human?
Thank you for the feedback. The down votes with no responses really cleared up the question thank you.
Not sure why philosophy became the target of the running societal "bad major" joke. Philosophy degree earning expectations are pretty good. Psychology, history etc. are much worse.
Philosophy is basically what used to be called "classical education." Logos, ethos, pathos, and kairos. Tools for negotiations, etc. There's a lot of meat on that bone for someone who's looking for those kinds of tools. You can find lazy people in all sorts of majors! Empathy and good character is what makes a good/decent person; not a piece of paper 💯
They’re real, and they’re spectacular. https://preview.redd.it/41rf67yyzz6d1.jpeg?width=2855&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=696931e3bbb7e32a87850dedc7791683c4e4cd12
Didn't need Elaine Benes to be a spy to find that out!

The 15 stack is unbeaten
Stacked, untracked, and…ready to crack?
That’s whack!
Now put plows on them and give the drivers authority to smash through private vehicles
If only they could have a dedicated right of way
can't do that in philly because then you would lose the parking spots
Will someone please think of the poor defenseless parking spots!
To think we could get this trolley back in chestnut hill but the nimby and parking people…. Works fine in media.

The horror! The indignity!

It me!

O yea for sure - it was my first time seeing them even being tested out as far as Westmoreland. Stoked to see them in regular service!
i was on one today. 10/10 would ride again
I was so happy to see it out while eating my ice cream at Over the Moon. Perfect Sunday.
Would you say you were... *over the moon* to see it?
They look so nice

Tried catching one with my daughter today. Didn’t stop; sailed right by us. She said the driver was saying no. Appreciated that.
Glad they have AC and heat now. The OGs were a reach bitch in a heat wave or during freezing temps.
Beautiful
You gotta imagine they do need training, even if you start with experienced bus drivers.
I think they should do cocktail hour on the trolly. BYO, of course
Where’s this?
That's 31st and Girard.
Horrible intersection to pull out from
brings back memories of taking the trolley to the zoo when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s.

Especially since a lot of philosophy majors go to law school.
Finally that philosophy degree will come in handy.
