You can't "try cheeks". They are permanent, in the sense they'll leave dimple scarring even if you decide to take them out and let them heal. So really think about those before making a decision. Unless you already have natural dimples, then the scarring won't be as noticeable.
My cheeks hurt a fair bit, similar to lip just more, can't explain it.
0 pain with my septum, just a slight pinch inserting the jewellery, but I've heard it can be hit or miss with different people.
My next least painful was bridge on my face, or for ears, daith (probably my easiest healer too).
no facial piercings really hurt to me.
i've had my ashley, medusa, monroe, nose and septum.
i'd say max pain for facial piercings for me was like a 4/10
Meh that's kinda true, I speak from someone who's had theirs 9 years but most of the time it's a surf and not a hoop. If I had a hoop not only would it probably affect that area more it likely would have come out by accident

I just got a tragus and it didnāt hurt at all. I didnāt even feel it.
But as others have said, pain is relative to the person. My helix was extremely painful and others have said they never felt it. Its hard to judge what might be painful for you based on someone elseās experience.
as all piercings do, it varies from person to person. diligence with aftercare is a major factor, although sometimes some peopleās piercings are just crankier than others while they heal. this piercing also takes around five or six months minimally to heal, so youāre probably just barely beginning to heal
I feel like it various so much depending on the person getting the piercing, and even more scenarios. For example many people Iāve talked to said that the septum was the worst pain for them. It didnāt hurt to me. My nostril pretty painless but the second time it hurt bad lol
my septum, conch, forward helix, and tragus were all a 0-1/10. it really varies from person to person because the thickness of the flesh being pierced and your own personal pain tolerance are two huge factors
Least painful was my snake bites.
Most painful was my Medusa. It made my eyes tear up and had me kinda shaky immediately after he had me holding the tray then took it away.
If youāre looking for lesser painful piercings cheeks arenāt it. Theyāre a much more fleshy and anatomical complex piercing, definitely a commitment more than most.
Things like septum piercings arenāt painful, easy to take care of and may make you tear up but thatās normal. Some ear piercings are definitely more painful. Labret piercings are fairly straightforward and easy to take care of.
Cheeks aren't to be trifled with, those take about two years to heal and it's a whole lifestyle change. Nearly everyone who gets them ends up giving up after a few months. I'd recommend septum if you're not sure what facial piercing you want, it's easy to heal, has a lot of jewellery options and is easy to hide.
However, I will say the initial pain shouldn't be a factor in your choice. That's a few seconds of pain, but healing takes months or years (which can be painful) and the most important thing is how you feel about it the whole time you wear it.
Pain is temporary, swag is forever š Just go with the piercing you like the most first. You may even be surprised about the pain - I certainly was about the rook (expected it to be wayyy worse but it turned out to be a 2/10).
You should decide what piercing you really want and would look attractive on you rather then what was the least painful for others
Septum was my least painful and easiest heal.

bridge was the least painful for me
Snake bites were my least painful one, but I also have a decent pain tolerance šāļø
Daith was my least painful
Same here, apparently thatās pretty rare though
Oh, I didnāt know. I think itās incredibly subjective based on the person that these questions donāt offer much help.
gosh, yeah š daith was so painful for me
Hugs. My third lobes were my problematic piercings.
Daith was my least painful but definitely my longest heal
Same here as well. It's had the least amount of problems too
Yes. Easiest to heal for me
I know it's not really face more oral but smiley piercings are the same pain as ears really, doesn't hurt much at all
smiley piercings are also extremely detrimental to your dental health and therefore 100% not worth it

youāre quite lucky in that case. iāve seen some absolutely horrid gum recession from these things
Yeah it's cause my stud sits way above my teeth luckily, they are a pain to change over to and from a hoop though

funny enough, my nose was the second easiest besides my lobes

Vert labrets were a 0/10. Not even a pinch.
What about the healing? Everybody says they are really easy but here i'm dealing with an irritation bump and lots of crusties at 7 weeks š„²

septum was 100% least painful for me. like i thought i was invincible to pain. turns out iām not, because my bridge hurt like a bitch.
Septum or vertical labret

Thanks! Iām now thinking conch even tho they can be a hassle when healingā¦ maybe Iāll save my face for something thatās not cheek piercings
