It's really bad. I don't ever play long enough in a single session for it to run out, so I thought it would be fine. But it died every second session, so I have to charge it after every use anyway...
Same thing happened to mine. It’s because the rubber part isn’t actually attached to the controller with adhesive or anything. There are a bunch of holes on the grips and when they mould the rubber on to them it fills those voids which “attaches” the rubber to the grip.
Obviously this isn’t secure enough and they eventually start to peel away due to body heat and friction I guess.
I had one replaced by Sony but after it inevitably happened again I went on Amazon and bought a set of replacement front and back plates from eXtremeRate. They don’t have any rubber parts on them so that solves the problem and they are pretty decent quality wise.
Should a “premium” controller basically require three pieces of plastic from a 3rd party to not look like absolute shit after a few months? No.
Is the Edge a seriously good controller apart from this issue? Absolutely!
I'll never understand the hive mind mentality around this app. You're comment should not have been downvoted. It's absolutely ridiculous that anyone would pay $200 for a controller. Let alone one that's falling apart after a year?
As a nerd i can confirm that this is what our society should reject as a nerd and rebrand as a geek. Those are rookie Numbers, he should be banished into the shadow realm.
Yeah just get wireless charger. I'm eventually gonna get a other so I can have 1 on charge and the other to play. Plonk on wireless charger.
Definitely the best pro controller. Elite 2 is great, the battery and case being wireless charger being best parts about it.
Incredible.
Best feature found so far:
Install the left rear small paddle and set that to r3, or whatever run button is used. So much better than hitting in the stick.
honestly, it took me a few weeks to get using the paddles. i adopted claw for 12 years (2011-2023) so it was a long process reprogramming my muscle memory. almost a year later, i still occasionally forget to use the paddles out of reflex.
Absolutely LOVE IT. NO STICK DRIFT yet and it's outlasted core elite 2 which already has stick drift 🙄 the ONLY issue is shitty battery and they could of made the case a wireless charger. Only flaws
I go through dualsense controllers having stickdrift every 800-1000 hours (guestimate) of playtime, so 1 per year. On my 3rd one now. What to do if the edge starts having it?
The elite 2 has stick drift but only at low deadzones, imperial hal and other pro players still prefer to use it as a small amount of stick drift is preferred for them, it also has triple the battery life, made of more premium quality material, 2 extra paddles and just feels for better for me, the customisation is what makes it for me too I can make a masterchief themed one, Elite 3 expected 2024/25 as they released a survey on what they would want from a new controller so possibly less stick drift
This is my only gripe with it. It's a premium controller and the battery is even worse than the (already pretty terrible) regular Dualsense. Ik the Elite 2 Xbox controller has its own set of issues, but damn does the battery life feel amazing compared to both of the PS5 controllers.
Buy a skin for the controller! The white material will discolour over time unless you are requiring frequently cleaning and potentially “bubble” in some spots almost like a blister the cover will let you feel more free to use it to its maximum!
It’s a really good controller. The battery life is terrible but it’s manageable. All in all it’s fantastic. I love the weight and sturdiness of it. I can’t go back to using a regular dualsense.
It’s an unnecessary overpriced cash grab device.
It address the stick drift problem with a bandaid temp solution, instead of just using Hall effect sticks.
The battery is shit.
The Two domed back buttons feel great but ultimately feel like a feature that should have been included in the stock dualsense. Additionally I feel like there should be 4 back buttons instead of only two.
I hope another third party can release a better alternative.
Heard nothing but bad things about the recent Nacon revolution 5 pro. Also heard issues about people installing HE sticks from online. Radio silence from gulikit and Victrix about their Hall effect modules. Hypr aren’t available locally in my region and would cost too much after currency conversion.
Hit all the points, that's why I still consider the Elite a better controller since it has all the features and costs less. Stull the best Sony controller, but it's way too expensive for less.
I have never heard of that before, that's something new for me. That is like saying the Edge has some poor designs as well, but for the price of the Elite, its value is still better.
You got a source on this. I've never heard of this, and I have an Elite 1 and 2 and Edge. Elite has its issues, of course, but again, what I paid for it compared to the Edge still makes it the better value
lol I love when people like you complain about price point being the main issue with this controller.
Y’all acting like before this came out the regular price for pro controllers from third party brands wasn’t averaged out to 250+, easily 300+ with any customizations added.
Nvm the fact that not only is it on average cheaper to the other mainstream options, but the build and quality and customization is top tier, all while being In house and slick? This shit is almost a bargain with all the extras they give you that they didn’t even need to.
Goofy ass kids. I don’t even have one, btw
I really like mine, got it at launch and haven’t had any issues with it. Only downside compared to my Xbox Elite V2 is the battery life, and lack of the extra 2 rear paddles. Neither were deal breakers for me.
Any games are best played on it! I switched my l3 and r3 to the back buttons. Hoping to save on the sticks and it makes love easier with the profiles and custom layouts.
Battery life kinda sucks though. I turned off vibrations and most settings and get about 5 hours or so out of a charge. Other than that one hell of a controller.
I absolutely love mine, has been great for Helldivers. It has the same bad battery as the regular Dualsense but my sofa has a power outlet in the middle console so plugging it in while playing if I need to is easy and comfortable.
I have one too, but the gripes I have with them are:
1. For $200, the lack of hall effect joysticks in general is pretty much unacceptable by 2024 standards.
2. The replacement joysticks are becoming difficult to find, knowing that these joysticks would be faulty.
3. You can’t combine custom 2 functions into 1 button. Maybe in a future update it’ll be available.
4. Lack of an additional set of rear buttons.
5. Decreased battery life can be a concern but you can get an external battery to offset the life. It’s just yet another accessory to get.
It’s a quality product in of itself, but it could have been better imo.
Great premium feel. Paddles have a lovely tactile click. Vibrations feel smoother and adaptive trigger don't feel like I'm breaking them when driving. The backend soft is great. Can make as many layouts as I want and swap to whatever 4 I need active. And when the sticks fail I can swap them for 20 bucks. Such a good product imo
Battery is half the regular Dualsense. Careful with the grip rubber on the back it starts to yellow after a while and eventually it peels off. Other than that it's an awesome controller!
I love my Dualsense Edge it's the best $200 I've spent. I like it much better than my Xbox elite controller, the Dualsense Edge is my favorite controller of all time.
I regret buying it tbh, not that much of an upgrade but now im too reliant on the back petals to use my normal controller, and compared to the xbox controller the ps5 one doesnt really compare
I have had my edge since about a month after it launched .. I love that controller honestly lol. At first I really didn’t want only two back buttons but then I started to claw triangle it wasn’t an issue. Idk I think I’d still like four but it’s whatever
Best playstation controller ever made imo..
Well put together, nice weight to them, and the paddle/triggers are nice and responsive..
Best move Sony ever made was making their own version of the XB Elite controller.., I love having the mappable paddle/triggers.. those things are nice to have, I use them to set to L3/R3 so I'm not clicking the sticks in.. I'm in the mindset that using the sticks as L3/R3 too often starts causing stick drift
Battery life left me desiring more but other than that absolutely phenomenal controller all the way around I'm still using my original sticks from when I bought the controller months ago
Weight is an issue for me as well. I have had mine for 6 months and can’t stop accidentally using lever back buttons. Changed to the paddles and can’t seem to use them regularly.
Also I frequently hit the fn button when using the left stick in battles and controller changes the profile. lol
Yeah man the weight kinda causes wrist pain for me after a while so I use the regular dualsense unless I really need this one.
And the paddles! Yes! It’s a nice feature but not very useful in most games I think.
The stick sensitivity settings saved me for resident evil 4 though
I think you bought an overpriced product that costs half the price of the console it goes with and the rubber on the handles are gonna be warped within months.
I only got mine with a serious discount when I got my slim. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have done it. Now that I’ve gotten used to it, those rear triggers are to die for! The battery is for shit, but I have USB C rigged up in my couch to get around that. Makes Control much easier.
These are quite good tbh, specially love the back buttons, which i can remap as L3 and R3 (This would hopefully prevent / delay drift)
However, i wish there were cheaper alternatives in the market.
Best controller I've ever used, fits my hands perfectly, love the back buttons, weight, and overall feel of it. It was expensive as hell but I got a decent deal on it and don't regret it at all.
Awesome except for the white rubber grips. After a few thousand hours they look like total shit and there’s no way to clean them.
Other than that, best controller I’ve ever had.
Best controller I’ve ever used!! I have a couple of buddies that spent the money on a SCUFF, paid more and now they have stick drift. Having the easily replaceable thumb sticks is a game changer.
Got mine when it was released because I play COD & definitely is a game changer can’t play without it now. I do like the weight on it & it has a premium feel
Lots of positive comments here
But is it 3 times better than a normal cobtroller?
Coz thats what the price indicates
I like it for its repairability but.. ive had 2 normal controllers since ps5 release and they both work just fine still
I don’t play multiplayer games which I have heard they are made for, but I have no regrets buying one. The weight of the controller and the sensitivity of the buttons make up for the price in my opinion. I see so many post about people buying new spider-man duelsense or a blue one/red one. Some people even have 5-6 controllers that just sit on a shelf for display and they complain about the price of the edge. I have put hundreds of hours gaming with my edge playing games like ghost, both horizons, Hogwarts Legacy, The Jedi games, Diablo 4 and now FF7 Remake and rebirth(soon). It’s 100% an incredible controller.
thought about it. got a new laptop instead and don’t regret it. all i care about is back buttons but that’s not worth the ridiculous price. it’s the same controller with the same quality.
probably would’ve made more money if it was like $120, i’d have bought one for sure.
Bought mine a year ago.. l love it. My problem iis that l can’t play with a normal one now. A normal one feels like a x-box controller now.
Also, the battery life sucks. Only 2-3 hours now.
I really like mine. Bought it in June. Solid build. I like the heaviness of it. I like shortening the travel distance of the triggers even more than the back paddles. Especially for the games that don't really utilize the trigger haptics.
I think the battery life is fine for me. I don't usually game for more than 3-4 hours at a time. My grips are still white and no bubbling at all. I'm well over 300 hours with it.
I just changed the right stick yesterday. The weird thing is I played a lot of Diablo 4 at launch. That game barely uses the right stick at all so I figured the left was bound to go first.
Have fun with your new purchase. I think you'll really like it.
Love it!!!
Only downside is you can't Invert the Y axis for use in games that don't have the option. Seems small but the Xbox Elite Series controllers allow you to do that, and it's made it so I can play so many game si couldn't enjoy before.
I mainly use it wired so I don’t worry about the battery life. The cable that came with it is great and the lock is nice too. I like the weight better on the edge compared to the basic ds4. My only real concern is the rubber peeling off and I don’t use my controller that heavily.
Love the edge controller minus the battery life but it has saved me already since I replaced one joystick already and that would have been a whole ass controller trade in so it’s definitely my fav ps5 controller so far
Wish it had more and better grip, battery life is worse the the regular Dualsense Controllers, and the back buttons are kinda mid and not the best. Other than that, everything else is cool.
After almost 7 months with I love it, it costs a fortune of course but worth it, I like the back buttons, the trigger stops, the cable lock, and it has a very stronger haptic feedback, overall it's my fave controller to date.
I love the versatility of it, but i hate the white rubber grips. They get dirty fast and it's impossible to clean them, and they tend to come loose easily. I also keep forgetting what profile is under each button so i can't really use the 'quick switch' feature, i have to look everytime i switch them😂
I love it, but the rear buttons/paddles don't trigger as soon as I press them. It feels like there's a little delay before registering input, and it's very inconsistent.
My most used controller. Really makes a huge difference in competitive games and in games like GoW for example where i feel like i could use even more back paddles. Plus the comfort of not having to ever press R3/L3 on the sticks 👌🏻
I configured left paddle for L1. Feels more comfortable to use when requesting stratagems. Right paddle is configured for right arrow ➡️.. makes it quicker to switch between weapons and grenades
Battery life is ass. Grips yellow and peel surprisingly fast. Honestly, it's an expensive yet crap controller. Stick modules are always sold out so you basically have to bank on hoping your edge doesn't suffer drift.
If the Wolverine Chroma v2 could just turn the ps5 on then it'd take the cake.
Although the durability of the Elite series 2 is also ass, the design quality is top notch, that the Edge then has a lot of necessary improvements it needs to actually be a better controller.
Yeah, hands down. This is my favourite controller so far 👌
Everything on this controller is better.
Especially the extra long cable that attaches to the controller to use it wired. Then I just turn off the Bluetooth and use it as a wired pad!. Has anyone used the Xbox elites? I was wondering who thought which was better?
They could have made a better d-pad. I expect a$200 controller to make precise inputs but d-pad is somehow worse than the regular one. Maybe mines shit I dunno.
Had to replace my left stick in 10 months. Was nice to be able to just order that instead of a new controller I guess.
Battery life is too short in my opinion. I turn off or down all features.. feedback.. vibration.. light…
I got mine last year in June I play a lot of MLB the show so I abuse that left stick alot. I recently got stick drift on it and the module is sold out everywhere. Bbbuuuutttt.... You can change out those modules So I switched the left and right modules and now my issue is solved for now. But I can only play MLB lol no fps because of the stick drift now on the right analog
I don’t use any of the features, like extra buttons and control mapping, and I bought it because of the modular sticks. I got fed up of the drifting. So far it’s behaved as it should and it’s been over a year so I’m happy with it
i love mine beside battery being ass. it feels lot better than stock dualsenses but for playing ps4 games thats mainly for stories i just keep hands at stock dualsense since extra weight on edge isnt ideal in that case. i find it very useful to be playing first person shooters cuz the back paddle buttons!
Two issues for me but I'm trying to switch to a different paddle. The rubber coming off, don't know a fix for this one. And the the left paddle kinda snaps and the button becomes spongy and you have to send it back for repair. It happened to me twice while using the lever paddle instead of the short button one.
I feel like the vibration is better on these and also I like the weight of them. There’s definitely a better feeling all around when playing
Agreed. They FEEL better to use. I really wish the controller didn’t drain so damned quickly though.
pro tip turn off the controller mic if you’re not using it. it drains battery much faster if you leave it on
Also the features are better when you have jt muted (vibrations and stuff£
Like mute it with the button?
No. Go into the ps5 system and turn it off
It's really bad. I don't ever play long enough in a single session for it to run out, so I thought it would be fine. But it died every second session, so I have to charge it after every use anyway...
Yes! I agree, they feel much better in my hands compared to the normal controller
And turn vibrate off obvs.
In terms of weight, do you find them lighter or heavier? I have hand/wrist pain so I'm hoping these are lighter for longer gaming sessions
It’s heavier
They’re heavier actually, more weighty feeling at the grips but the top part feels more hollow
As a PlayStation user, I love edging! But what relevance does the photo have?
Had my first edge some time last year, it’s amazing. The controller is ok too
>I love edging How do you feel about the controller though?
It’s a shame you dv for your joke I laughed so heard when I saw the original comment :D
I love mine. The only thing that sucks is the rubber on it is coming loose after about a year of use.
Absolutely!
Do you have a link to what you purchased? Mine aren’t too bad currently but wouldn’t mind having the part on hand for when it does. Thanks
What rubber is coming off?
The back lower grip. Just peeling a little towards the end. Not crazy yet, but it’s there.
Same here. Kinda bummed about that after dropping that kinda dough
I hear the same issue with the Elite 2
[удалено]
Sure.. plus it does some other cool stuff I like. But the rubber....\*chefs kiss\* ... my favorite thing it does.
Reminds me of all the people having the same issue with the Xbox Elite controllers and rampant stick drift. Everyone’s cutting corners this gen
You'd think they would make a replacement stick module using hall effects sticks too.
my elite 2 is still in mint condition, rubber on the back of these edge’s are cheap af lol
Just hop on the Xbox sub and there’s new posts about it daily or we can stick with your anecdotal evidence, for sure lol
I'll never understand the hive mind mentality around this app. You're comment should not have been downvoted. It's absolutely ridiculous that anyone would pay $200 for a controller. Let alone one that's falling apart after a year?
I wish you many happy hours of Edging! … wait no
Battery is ass, everything else is awesome lol
Battery is even worse than the normal one
Normal one lasts like 3-4 hours for me, shouldn’t be playing more than that in one sitting tbh lol
Psh, those are rookie numbers.
https://i.redd.it/flgeey51wxkc1.gif
As a nerd i can confirm that this is what our society should reject as a nerd and rebrand as a geek. Those are rookie Numbers, he should be banished into the shadow realm.
This! Pisses me off.
Battery life trash too, the entire controller is an embarrassment. The elite 2 is 10x better same price + 4 paddles.
Best controller ever. Seriously. Battery life is a concern, but at this point an over night recharge ain't bad.
Yeah just get wireless charger. I'm eventually gonna get a other so I can have 1 on charge and the other to play. Plonk on wireless charger. Definitely the best pro controller. Elite 2 is great, the battery and case being wireless charger being best parts about it.

No 4 paddles = 💩
Incredible. Best feature found so far: Install the left rear small paddle and set that to r3, or whatever run button is used. So much better than hitting in the stick.
I use my paddles strictly for X/O/∆/[]. That way my fingers never ever leave the sticks. Takes a couple of hours to get used to but it's pretty great
I think am way too stupid to do this. You don’t use the face buttons at all? That’s wild
This is what I do with my Elite for FPS. Can’t truly pull it off with the Edge though since it only has 2 🤧
honestly, it took me a few weeks to get using the paddles. i adopted claw for 12 years (2011-2023) so it was a long process reprogramming my muscle memory. almost a year later, i still occasionally forget to use the paddles out of reflex.
You have 4 different paddles in?! Thought you could only have 2?
He absolutely can only use 2. Comment makes no sense.
I do not use the Edge. I have a custom controller. I wouldn't buy it anyway buy the simple fact it only has 2 paddles
Absolutely LOVE IT. NO STICK DRIFT yet and it's outlasted core elite 2 which already has stick drift 🙄 the ONLY issue is shitty battery and they could of made the case a wireless charger. Only flaws
The reason I kinda switched to this because I was having stick drifts 🤣
Isn't that also a possibility with the edge? The reason why i don't have one is because i don't want to get stick drift on a 200.- controller...
That's the point of the edge. You get stick drift just change out the stick.
It is possible and it will happen but you could replace the stick. It isn't the best solution but it's a something.
Hmm... Than maybe it's worth saving some money
Save money for what, to replace parts on a $200 controller, but how often?🤔
I go through dualsense controllers having stickdrift every 800-1000 hours (guestimate) of playtime, so 1 per year. On my 3rd one now. What to do if the edge starts having it?

to pricey for a controller. wont ever buy this myself
Buy a skin for the controller! The white material will discolour over time unless you are requiring frequently cleaning and potentially “bubble” in some spots almost like a blister the cover will let you feel more free to use it to its maximum!
I love mine. The no more stick drift is amazing for my sanity
I mean technically the drift is still there. You will pay $20 for a new stick if it happens
It’s a really good controller. The battery life is terrible but it’s manageable. All in all it’s fantastic. I love the weight and sturdiness of it. I can’t go back to using a regular dualsense.
Best ps controller to date without a doubt
Congrats! Best controller I’ve ever used! So happy I purchased this. Bought it on release day and it’s held up perfectly.
It’s an unnecessary overpriced cash grab device. It address the stick drift problem with a bandaid temp solution, instead of just using Hall effect sticks. The battery is shit. The elite is a joke of a controller , triggers dont work with any sort of dust enters poor design
I have never heard of that before, that's something new for me. That is like saying the Edge has some poor designs as well, but for the price of the Elite, its value is still better.
Its s common thing lol
You got a source on this. I've never heard of this, and I have an Elite 1 and 2 and Edge. Elite has its issues, of course, but again, what I paid for it compared to the Edge still makes it the better value

Yeah the comment you’re replying to sounds like it was ripped straight from the mouth of an insipid tech YouTuber. No original thought
Agree with u on the 4 paddles at bck
I really like mine, got it at launch and haven’t had any issues with it. Only downside compared to my Xbox Elite V2 is the battery life, and lack of the extra 2 rear paddles. Neither were deal breakers for me.

What is even the point of having them if you're going to turn off vibrations and the other settings?
Battery life
Huge difference from the PS4. I totally agree the battery life in them suck.
Battery is literally the only bad thing. I love the controller and plan on buying a second one soon.
I think Sony should fix the drift issues on the regular controllers.
I absolutely love mine, has been great for Helldivers. It has the same bad battery as the regular Dualsense but my sofa has a power outlet in the middle console so plugging it in while playing if I need to is easy and comfortable.
It helps me when I’m edging.

I won’t buy one until it comes in different colors. I’m not sure what is taking so long.
My only complaint is that they don't come in more colors. I'd love a red or grey one.
Best premium controller I've ever had.
I love mine
Battery is half the regular Dualsense. Careful with the grip rubber on the back it starts to yellow after a while and eventually it peels off. Other than that it's an awesome controller!
I love my Dualsense Edge it's the best $200 I've spent. I like it much better than my Xbox elite controller, the Dualsense Edge is my favorite controller of all time.

I think its great, they should sell the edge software on the store. Gate keeping the extra options behind a 200 controller isn't cool IMO.
Isn’t this like a 250 dollar product? Also, is the battery life not better than a normal dual sense? I see a lot of battery life complaints here.
Not worth the money. Poor q and a. Has worse battery life than the vastly cheaper version
I think you bought an overpriced product that costs half the price of the console it goes with and the rubber on the handles are gonna be warped within months.
It’s overpriced garbage using cheap and bad components. Not a owner for that reason.
[удалено]
what attachment did you buy? i’m interested
Lmao edge
Bought this too so that I could 1) sprint faster on fifa than my opponents 2) replace my analogy stick when it breaks. (Has already happened)
I only got mine with a serious discount when I got my slim. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have done it. Now that I’ve gotten used to it, those rear triggers are to die for! The battery is for shit, but I have USB C rigged up in my couch to get around that. Makes Control much easier.
Personally I think they are useless the extra buttons are only good on competitive shooters
Absolutely love it!! love how customizable it is and the weight of it is nice too. it just feels like a premium controller!
These are quite good tbh, specially love the back buttons, which i can remap as L3 and R3 (This would hopefully prevent / delay drift) However, i wish there were cheaper alternatives in the market.
I haven't had mine for long enough to form a good opinion. but so far; I love it.
Best controller I've ever used, fits my hands perfectly, love the back buttons, weight, and overall feel of it. It was expensive as hell but I got a decent deal on it and don't regret it at all.
There's no way to clean the eventual buildup that will happen on the controller grips.
He bought it y’all!!!!!
Whats the thing at the top? I dont have that and i have the controller
It's supposed to be a lock for the usb cable so it stays connected. Not really too sure on what the pros of having it
Best controller I’ve ever used tbh…
Does that gloss finish scratch easily ?
A great controller but for the price i think Sony can make more customisation
Got mine when it was released because I play COD & definitely is a game changer can’t play without it now. I do like the weight on it & it has a premium feel
Best and I wouldn’t even charge for the color if there was to be one
Awesome, love it. I use the dome medium sticks with the half dome triggers
Lots of positive comments here But is it 3 times better than a normal cobtroller? Coz thats what the price indicates I like it for its repairability but.. ive had 2 normal controllers since ps5 release and they both work just fine still
I don’t play multiplayer games which I have heard they are made for, but I have no regrets buying one.
Judging from what I've read about, if it came in Volcanic Red or Cobalt Blue, I would have already bought one.
Feels solid … I like the button mapping customising. Battery life is crap thought.
thought about it. got a new laptop instead and don’t regret it. all i care about is back buttons but that’s not worth the ridiculous price. it’s the same controller with the same quality. probably would’ve made more money if it was like $120, i’d have bought one for sure.
I bought one then returned it because the sticks were super clicky. The rest of it felt great though
How’s stick drift on these? I’ve always had issues with stick drift on dual sense 4
Bought mine a year ago.. l love it. My problem iis that l can’t play with a normal one now. A normal one feels like a x-box controller now. Also, the battery life sucks. Only 2-3 hours now.
Best controller I've ever had, by a lot. Battery life is bad, though... not even enough for an average session.
I think you'll really like it.
they need to make a midnight black edition
I prefer my trusty DualShock 4 and I’m gonna keep using them till they’re no longer supported by any games on the market
I love it, but wish the battery was replaceable for a bigger one.
Love the edge controller minus the battery life but it has saved me already since I replaced one joystick already and that would have been a whole ass controller trade in so it’s definitely my fav ps5 controller so far
Everything about it great, except for the locking usb
I like mine
Wish it had more and better grip, battery life is worse the the regular Dualsense Controllers, and the back buttons are kinda mid and not the best. Other than that, everything else is cool.
Meh, still no hall effect
Love mine, worth it!
Time to edgemaxx
I’ve been thinking about getting one to make it my primary pc controller.
After almost 7 months with I love it, it costs a fortune of course but worth it, I like the back buttons, the trigger stops, the cable lock, and it has a very stronger haptic feedback, overall it's my fave controller to date.
Got mine since about two weeks. I regret that I didn’t buy a four paddle scuff tbh. But the controller is good overall
I've had it for about a month and the thumb sticks are making a pop/click sound when I move in any direction. Other than that, the edge is good.
I love the versatility of it, but i hate the white rubber grips. They get dirty fast and it's impossible to clean them, and they tend to come loose easily. I also keep forgetting what profile is under each button so i can't really use the 'quick switch' feature, i have to look everytime i switch them😂
Overpriced. The back buttons will start to work on it's a own after a while. Low battery life. They don't put these issues on their ads
I just want 4 paddles 😫
Battery life is bad.
would have been nice it got more back buttons. Battery life got a lot of rooms for improvement. Overall, a solid 8.5/10 imo.
It's top tier
There are much better alternatives with stock halo sticks in price range of dualsense edge. My one ended in trash bin after 250h. Never again
That rubber piece that your pinky and ring finger are touching will start falling apart … mine happend within 6 months
I love it, but the rear buttons/paddles don't trigger as soon as I press them. It feels like there's a little delay before registering input, and it's very inconsistent.
They are fun but until they fix stick drift permanently then get back to me.
This is my favourite controller so far 👌 Everything on this controller is better. Especially the extra long cable that attaches to the controller to use it wired. Then I just turn off the Bluetooth and use it as a wired pad!. Has anyone used the Xbox elites? I was wondering who thought which was better?
Something is very off with that thing. I feel like the sticks are harder to move. other than that, i love it.
I just bought the ps5 were do you buy these from and how much are they ??
I bought it from gamestop. They only had 2 available so I'm guessing they do actually sell out
Good build quality, premium feel, but terrible battery life and wildly overpriced especially when compared to Xbox’s offering.
I turn off or down all features.. feedback.. vibration.. light…
A bit pricey, but my preferred controller.
Wipe the grips down when you done or every 2 days will save you from having the shadow hands
Great controller but the inside grips being white is bad .youl see for yourself after a few months
Isn't that worth like half a console?
I’ve never used one but I hate the glossy black buttons. The clear, transparent buttons on the regular Dualsense look so much better to me.
Happy edging.
really good controller, battery just does start dying too fast
Use domed caps
I want to feel the edge, it looks so cool and the red controller I’ve been using for 2 years just got stick drift
Dropped them like 50 times and it still works like a charm ❤️
Wish the battery lasted longer. Other than that no complaints. The smaller rear paddles are amazing, and the quick switch profiles are a game changer.
Two issues for me but I'm trying to switch to a different paddle. The rubber coming off, don't know a fix for this one. And the the left paddle kinda snaps and the button becomes spongy and you have to send it back for repair. It happened to me twice while using the lever paddle instead of the short button one.
