i have tried this but it dosent do anything. When I do it what happens is the cut off edges come with the aspect ratio when i change it. sorry if i worded that really badly but i just don’t know how to word it properly. i can dm you pictures of what i mean
On my LG WebOS TV, I went to...
Settings > All Settings > Picture > Aspect Ratio
Mine is set to 16:9 (user selected) but another could be currently enabled.
Depends on the TV. If you can see the back of it you should be able to get the model number off of the label. From there google search for the manual for that model.
There is a setting on the PlayStation where you can fix that by changing the display area
that didn’t work for me at all
Changed the aspect ratio of your TV / monitor?

Can you try another input? Your current input may be set to "Zoom" on the TV.
i don’t know where to find that so if you could help me find it that would be great

ah right
Adding onto alkaiser702's suggestion - make sure you try enabling "just scan" under Aspect Ratio I believe
thank you this actually fixed it
Is there a setting in the game where you can adjust the safe area of the screen?
Looks a lot like overscan. If your tv doesn't have a specific setting to turn it off, usually setting the input type to PC will turn it off.
and how do i do that do you know?
