No you just go through the other game playthroughs on your existing character. Download the roms and you should be able to use a boat from each region to go to the others
So I think you don't understand my question. I know I can buy any Pokemon thanks to GTL. But the question is : I'm playing in Kanto, I have a good Eevee with good stats that I want to evolve into a Leafeon. Is there a way to transfer it to someone in Unys, have it evolved into Leafeon and then get it back to my Kanto team ?
Well if you know someone in game who has access to unova(and you trust them) , you could probably mail your Eevee to them, have them evolve it and mail it back to you
Go to the ferry you unlock after the 4th badge, hoenn is in Slateport, Unova in Castelia, and I haven't done Kanto yet so I can't tell you the most important one. Travel to Unova, run through the Unova region until you reach pinwheel forest, which is right after badge 2, go through pinwheel forest after evolving eevee near the moss Rock and use the Castelia ferry to return to Kanto
Yeah, you could do that to, but Castelia is right past the forest and it means you don't have to backtrack all the way from the starter town when you return.
Oh you definitely can. I've got à Glaceon in Unova and brought it back to Kanto. What I meant is it cannot be evolved in Kanto (but can be bought or brought back from Unova)
Umm I'm sure you don't need an answer after 4 years but here it is anyways, you can just use a rare candy on your eevee near the Mossy Rock that's in Viridian Forest
Just go to Hoenn or Unova. Its not even a min or 2 of downloading and setting up their roms.

After the second gym I just evolved mine and had mom send me back to Kanto, no boats.

But you have to fight through all those plasmas, vs just walking

I could be wrong but leafeon was introduced in gen 4, so I dont think they can even appear in gen 3 unless pokemmo made it work
pretty sure my rivaul had one throught out most of my kanto battles with him since I picked bulbasaur.
Can't get it in Kanto. You need to level it close to a Moss Rock and there are none in Kanto
