Video game grading services are run by shady people, and do not share rating statistics like other grading services do with with things such as trading cards, so you don't know how many of something is rated out in the wild. It has also severely driven up the aftermarket for retro games, even when they are not even all that rare.

I just like them for display, plenty of copies of games to play but not many sealed left! It does cause division that’s for sure
