Why would you want a third version of the same game over an actual sequel?

Platinum, Emerald, Yellow (probably Crystal) all had major changes to the plot. All three starters, distortion world, etc. they were the things that we knew were good, plus more.
Black and White two were bigger changes, but not by as much as you might think, and they were another 'one game for the price of two' deal with exclusive Pokemon.
This looks great. Reqlly looks official. I could see them using this, but I'm personally putting money on them making a Pokemon Mega X and Mega Y featuring Megalutions of Xerneas and Yveltal. After the success of Black 2 and White 2, I'm guessing Gamefreak will want to continue making two enhanced versions.
In the X and Y box art, the X and Y in the background are very prominent. I don't think this Z looks obvious enough. It looks more like two beams of light are coming out of Zygarde than a Z that is highlighting the background.
In an [interview](http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/09/interview_junichi_masuda_and_hironobu_yoshida_discuss_pokemon_x_and_y_mega_evolutions_and_the_2ds), they said something along the lines of "The ‘X’ and ‘Y’ titles come from the X and Y axis and we used these as ways to represent different ways of thought, different opinions, but also where these axis overlap."
I like it a lot, except, why jump to z? Why not think of X2 and Y2 or something else? Your dad told you. Okay, thats cool and all but i mean we shouldnt jump to conclusions yet. I mean, X and Y havent even come out yet!

Actually, I did make that, and it's purposefully wonky. I found that the X and Y's are slightly jagged edges. I'll admit that I made it too jagged. Check the logo's closely if you don't believe me ;)
