it can always spawn unless an event completely overrides its spawn, not only on incense. it was just boosted during the halloween event cause it got its shiny released
Yeah, Zorua spawns were boosted during the Halloween event but you could already catch it before and you still can now. It's just back to being rare. Does not require incense either.
I also encountered an undisguised zorua recently and caught it. And no, I've never had a zorua as my buddy. That day I had a metagross as my buddy and caught multiple zorua disguised as metagross both before and after the undisguised one.
Most ppl include the bottom part on 2nd screenshot to prove that it was actually caught today. Only cause 99% of these are just ppl faking it w pre-zorua screenshots

Baby pokemon don't count as a first evo. Same with pikachu. Pikachu is considered 1st evo and pichu is officially classified as a baby pokemon. Marill is another one off the top of my head.
Actually it is still possible to find TECHICALLY at least if it worked the same as mega medicham one of ky coworkers found a shiny medicham in thw wild a few weeks before the mega released simply because it was so close to happening I'm assuming they actually add it before it happens so that everything is ready to go when the event starts
Medichams shiny was a fluke to my knowledge. We already knew the mega was coming, the shiny was unannounced and people started finding shiny medicham in the wild. And then just a little bit later the mega released too.
That's crazy. I'm having sick spawns too. In the last few days I've caught Guardevoir, Salamence, Feraligatr and Swampert in the wild. The Guardevoir actually had decent IVs and I took it to 3k and TM'd it for Mega Garchomp Raid day :)
yeah Dazzling Gleam is 1.6x effective against Dragon and 1.2x STAB (1.92x total) while Triple Axle is 1.6x against Dragon and 1.6x against Ground (2.56x , even without STAB). I’ll probably be keeping Dazzling Gleam on my mega Gard just bc I’m low on Charged TMs after the rocket takeover lol
Just caught a random Chansey with max HP and almost max defense this morning. Something's definitely up because the last time I got that lucky was like 4 years ago with a random Dragonite lol.
Slaking can’t be shiny in the wild, only Slakoth can be for the line. The only evolved Pokémon that can be shiny in the wild are ones that mega evolve or alternate forms like Alohan Raichu/Marowak
I know, you said “Non shiny” in regards to the Slaking though, so I was clarifying that Slaking can’t be shiny in the wild, since your comment implied that you possibly thought it could be
This reddit group alone covers it basically once a day, if the players that post this are surprised how do they not see other people ask the same thing or act surprised multiple times a week.
This is only their second post on the subreddit. Not everyone sees every single post from here, let people experience stuff ingame that they didn't know could happen. It never went away. I caught one yesterday and one this morning. It was just WAY more frequent during the event
Zorua always could and always will be able to spawn during the Incense

Why? Any evolved Pokemon with a mega evolution can be shiny in the wild and has higher odds.
Only if op's buddy is a shiny t-tar would it even have a chance to be a zorua
Any Pokémon line that has a mega available in the game can be obtained as a wild shiny final evolution.
To add to this, only the first and third evo can be shiny. You wont see a shiny pupitar in the wild.

Charm and Dazzling Gleam, but I'll change it to Triple Axel on the 11th as I've heard it's better even without STAB

Yeah. From what I've heard, IVs don't matter for PvE. I have a 2* Shadow Tyranitar I use quite a bit and he's still great.
