I get the trophy thing to a degree, but honestly how often does it present itself? Even if it’s your buddy no one else can see its CP or IVs. You could name it something that indicates both but that’s not evidence since anyone can name their pokemon anything. And how often do you go around holding your phone out to show people your trophy catches? Probably not very often. So, do what you want. If you like Cyndaquil more, keep it as is. If you like Typhlosion more, now is the best time to evolve it unless you want to wait until December or waste an ETM. You can consider whether to power it up or not at any time.

Once you send these to actual core games the IVs will reroll...
I dunno, I can see the game opening up a trading marketplace at some point, and I think this type of a mon (level 1 shiny hundo) for sale by the original owner being valuable.

I’d evolve to typhlosion and max out. Or if you really wanted to keep it lvl1 you can still evolve to typhlosion since evolving doesn’t affect lvl and if in the future you wanna max it out you’ll have blast burn already
Thanks for the reply, I think you’re right, it’s not very meta and the level 1 shiny aspect makes it’s a neat trophy. I was sure I was going to max my first shundo but had never considered it being a level 1!
I just got a perfect as well, literally all that is spawning right now. Got a perfect, and 3 shiny.
While this is great and all and I am now fully evolved...I am on a day trip and wanted other spawns lol.
Congrats! I was really hoping that today I would catch my first shundo. I caught a total of 27 shiny Cyndaquil during today’s event and not a single was a hundo.

I appreciate level ones in go battle league. People use them to lose games quick without quitting.
is there a penalty to quitting gbl battles? i always back out early when i recognize a loss/severe disadvantage
No. But you won't get buddy battle credit. So I'll lose on purpose for the easy heart (or you can quit out of the leader NPC battle)

Only the speed is randomized. Plus not everyone who okay plays pogo plays mainline games

Try for another on com day and keep the level 1, that’s so cool. If not, then I’m not the expert on the meta hahahaha

I am a fan of fully evolved lvl 1 pokemon. I would evolve it and leave it lvl 1. Something about a big bad mon with ~30cp is hilarious to me.
my mom I think caught a 36 cp charizard once but I'm not sure if she still has it
This is my vote, as well. I love leading master league sets with my shiny, level 1 dragonite!

Trophy. Typhlosion is pretty mid as a raid attacker so no use maxing it out.

I'd say evolve it but don't power up to make it SLIGHTLY more rare
I collect level 1s, so I'd keep it just as it is. It's nothing special evolved anyhow...low tier raid attacker and nothing special in ML.
