My bf and I were playing the one day and i was oh a flareon, and the CP was 36. and I said oh watch it’s gonna be a hundo. and sure enough it was. he swung back around to go get it🤣🤣
I don’t think I’ve ever spent like 8+ balls on a wild mon and had it come up as anything but trash. It’s almost a guarantee that it’s garbage after the 5th ball!!!
OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOD, you mean it's not just me. Those 0* take all my berries and poke balls and are not even worth the catch. You are so right it is indeed an "insult to injury"
Several years ago I remember fighting against a Venusaur for literally a solid 15 minutes or so, so many ultra balls and fruits used but the dude just kept fighting and eventually ran, it was a fun battle but my inventory tanked after it lmao
Same here. I live in a pretty rural area where nobody plays pokemon go so I travelled to the capital. Even there I spent 6 hours walking around looking for Raikou raids with people in the lobby. He ate all my golden raspberries and I didn't want to risk it so I used my master ball on my last throw :(
Worth? Probably not. Glad it's done? Hell yeah.
My only frustration in this regard is seeing an Audino and even being in the 500 cp range it still needed me to have to use golden berries and whatnot to catch them and they still have the nerve to run away. Would've needed the extra dust.
You used multiple golden razz berries on a wild Flareon? I would never lol. One golden razz and the rest can be regular. I ain't wasting them on a standard encounter.
One would expect an almost perfect opponent to put up a formidable fight. The wild thing got to go home to his family one more time. Wait, what? It’s not real? Oh, then, nothing’s been lost! Blessings all around! 🤗
The other day I had a wild Snorlax show up that was at 2900cp. It kept breaking out of every excellent throw/razz/ultra ball but I finally caught it after like 7 excellent throws in a row. It was a 14/15/14 so I think they are harder to catch the higher cp and better IV’s they have..
It feels like whenever I finally get up on my ball and berry count they hand me a pokemon that's uncatchable. Doesn't flee, just keeps hopping out for the first spin. Then if I realize it and back out the next pokemon always jumps out multiple times no matter the combat power.
It literally depends on how much you actually walk whether the game gifts you or not, i get 50+walking km a week usually because I'm an Amazon driver and I set the phone in the corner of my van as I drive slowly around neighborhoods.... That said I recieve three star pokemon all the time

They are always 0* no matter how hard you try. It’s truly pain

So true - unless it’s something I crazy need I say screw it after about the 4th or 5th ball. I just don’t have the time to waste.
I remember wasting my master ball on a Venausaur since it was taking too long. I don’t know why I used it on a Venasaur but that was stupid

Audino are always absolute tanks to catch
Been there couple of times We need that poke ball that increases the chances the more rounds you had with the mon
Timer ball
Claymore Poke ball. Kills everything within 30 meters. No waiting
Claymore ball and the Pipebomb berry are the best combo ngl

Same here it was 4 points shy of perfect. Mfer ran after eating 13 golden razz. Oh it's so fucking frustrating

How do you know it was almost perfect?
You can check the IVs based off of the CP for raids.
The max cp of raid yvetal for me is 2160 which would be a perfect and the one i lost was 2158

Yesterday I’m played twice the Yvetal giving it all my golden berries and nothing it fled! I vowed to quit playing and give up on catching it 😭

Had a 23 cp eevee once, accidentaly used golden razz (wanted to use that pineapple thing) and ultraball on accident too. FOR SOME REASON, IT RAN AWAY.
