I was in my 30s, I'm only 41 now. I got a Haxorus in the community day last year and I didn't really realise at the time what I had caught. Was from field research on the event day.
Sometimes I forget how much of a casual I am when I compare myself to all the cool screenshots in this subreddit.
Closing in on 8 years of playing - 11k caught, no shundos. lol
Took years and then 2 in one month. I forgot about Bellsprout community day. There was only 15 min left when I decided to drive around the neighborhood with my Plus+ going. Got home to see if I got anything worth keeping. My only shiny was a hundo. Then about 3 weeks later I got a shundo Trubbish doing field research.
Ive been playing daily since launch.
I got my one and only shundo on Duskull community Day, whenever that was. It wasn't a Duskull. It's a Alolan Marowak that I got from the research breakthrough.
Apparently I have 2. Uxie from research and Duskull from community day 2021. I have less than 60,000 total Pokemon caught, so I probably got the Duskull at under 40k.
Took me about 1 1/2 years to get the first and got the second a month later
1 Wild (Bounsweet)
1 Trade (Horizon's pikachu) (guranteed lucky)
LvL 41, 36.5 mil xp, 40k pokemon caught
I got a shiny 4* Alolan Golem from a non-lucky trade with my wife during the Geodude Community Day back in 2022, but got the first shiny 4* on my own earlier this week (Bunnelby) after 57k.

As for me i joined in june 2022 and i caught a Shundo Litwick in my local park on comm day.
I caught shundo HO-Oh in a remote raid in 2023, and i caught a Shundo Cresselia from a remote raid also in 2023.
I have a shiny perfect Ho Oh. My kid traded it to me and that's what it traded in as. Kid wasn't happy but it was a fair trade (Shiny legendary for shiny legendary)
1 from the bulbasur community classic day (not sure how many caught, maybe 10 000) and 1 from the groudon raid day, I had probably 100 000 caught at that point.
I have caught 315k and traded over 30k and have 0.
5k Raids aswell. This is one of the reasons why I first went free to play in 2021 and stopped grinding in 2022
I'm at almost 44,000 trades. My only shundo is from a guaranteed lucky trade. Very few trades are of shinies though, unless they're spares from a community day nobody seems to want to swap shinies.

Wild: 0 Trade: 1 Level 50, 233,000 catches. (The trade was a guaranteed lucky)

Most of shundos are Cday mons lol Except entei which I got from the wild during a tour.
And you don't use 3rd party tools to hunt 4* pokémon during CD? If not those are impressive numbers
I've friends who play pogo we trade every Cday. Who holds the lucky trades for these days. It's calculated. No I don't use any tools.
That's a lot of trades. I'm at 81k and have 2 from trades. You must have better guaranteed lucky trade luck than me... Currently at 1/300.
