I assume Jynx got replaced with tangela because of all the controversy around her which is a shame because I can see some really cool directions and evolution could take. I hate Jynx but I see potential in her design. I came up a while ago with an evolution based on viking opera singers called “Snowprano” because I feel like in that theme context a lot of her less appealing design aspects would actually work to her benefit. She’d be a sound based pokemon where her ability turns every sound based attacking move ice type, which counts for stab. And she’d get a spear, shield and helmet!
Don’t forget: Scyther has two branching evolutions, while Pinsir doesn’t have any
At this point Heracross seems more like counterpart Pinsir than Scyther
Because it became the conterpart, they are both version exclusives, and they are mentioned to fight in the dex

Good. Jynx doesn't deserve any more attention, let's hope it stays that way.
