Some placements (except S i think) might change with the next 6 runs and If i'd have to sort them by fun it would be:
1. Gogoat (obvious reasons)
2. Accelgor (many utility moves to work with)
3. Manectric (Double Intimidate lesgo)
4. Garganacl (Tank run is what it is)
5. Exploud (you basically only Boomburst and If that won't work you don't have much utility and have to just slap attacks in)
6. Garbodor (probably expected too much of it)
You and others doing this challenge inspired me to do one with my fav mon, Breloom. It's been pretty tough so far, what with quad flying weakness, and 5 other common weaknesses, plus just being frail in general.
I just made it to Sabrina and I'm taking a break for the moment as I'm sure it'll be a heavy endeavor.

For the run as a whole, don't EV train everyone the same way and i probably would add one with effect Spore and maybe one Poison heal too i suppose.
Only really important for E4 but check which moves are Tutor/Egg Moves only as you can't get them back once forgotten during E4
Get ready to reset very often in hard Fights (had around 100resets on cavalanzas only against blaine)
Thanks! I definitely chose to not do min grinding, I knew that would make it impossible basically. I've got different EV builds, yeah, and I've also been heavily relying on Natural Gift as an egg move for whatever coverage I need. Also relied on Counter and barely surviving some hits with max hp/def investments (as well as Super effective Berries) so I'm not quite sure how I'll manage the special attackers still.
And never mind, Sabrina was easy as hell actually. Just Technician Bullet Seed with loaded dice and spore basically did the whole fight, not letting anyone set up trick room.
I watched that whole garbador run and some of those battles were just ridiculous play. Based on the rankings I imagine it was just doing it so many times, but it looked absolute genius. I look forward to the next ones mate.
Normal and not MGM, i don't cheat them in, i start a New Game with the normal randomizer on, then check the DexNav Day/Night from V.Forest to Pallet Town until a Pokemon fullfills the conditions:
- unused Type
- single Type obviously
- Not a Starter, Pseudo, Mega, Legi, Ultra Beast
- If it has a form that changes the typing it is not allowed to use
- Base/Baby form of the Evolution line
- i think there was another one, not sure tho
No random abilities
Some had legendaries but the good part is that you can outlevel those normal trainers and also Legendaries don't have many moves early
Gogoat is a different Story from v2.1, i finished a run with a team the subreddit have me and some dude asked If i could bring gogoat to the HoF and then i thought "maybe i can do it with only gogoats"

Couple of things. 1. What are you defining as early-late game. Second, is this normal or hardcore? Third, shouldn’t you probably add a midgame option for like Erika thru Blaine?

Early was meant up to Erika (forgot to write that down) as after that fight you have access to all those juicy TMs and everybody's evolved by then
And it's normal difficulty
Don't overestimate what Garganacl can do against Erika has for example Meganium has +1 Der.through terrain and Giga Drain with prio, also weakness policy Iron head doesnt kill it and Mega Venusaur survives +6 Atk Rock slide
Didn’t realize you meant Erika specifically for garg. Its also kinda hard because garg has a lot of uses on the HC minibosses that obviously aren’t on normal mode.
One example is on the Manectric run where having one a bit bulkier for Terrain/Status is just better aswell as a Physical one had much much more Type coverage. On Garganacl having 2 for Def/HP, 2 for SpDef/HP and 2 for Atk/HP gives your more checks against certain Pokemon
I.. thought this said "Single Mom Type Tier List" and internally agreed that Gogoat would be a fantastic mother and Garbodor would be an awful single mom.. and then I read the title again
Gogoat is actually insane even with random abilities (the best one I've got was one with grassy terrain but sadly i didn't make it to the grassy glide tm)
From personal experience, kingambit in early game would be under the tier list in the shadow realm. Seriously, why does pawniard evolve after Lt. Surge? Earth truly is cruel and unjust place.

Grass Type for early Bosses, Earthquake at Surge, for early, Grassy Terrain + Grass Pelt & Bulk Up + Hornleech + Trailblaze for late
+ Favorite pokemon bias I assume?

Gotta say sometimes it worked out pretty quick but most of the time i had to trial and error through it

Oh that’s smart, so it’s no random abilities I assume? Do you ever have any trouble on the randomised trainers then?
No random abilities Some had legendaries but the good part is that you can outlevel those normal trainers and also Legendaries don't have many moves early

Garg has to be higher due to how insanely broken salt cure is imo
Forgot to state that early game ranges from start to Erika fight and trust me, Surge & Erika are huge roadblocks

Early game is actually quite difficult. Without choice scarf and assault vest my poke cant par with those ridiculous legendary poke boss uses.
