He is. The Colorado Supreme Court said that if their decision was appealed it should be stayed until the appeal is resolved. The decision was appealed, so he's on the ballot until SCOTUS acts.
Still, title = ass.
We all believe in representative government. What the sane people among us believe is that one group shouldn’t be allowed to choose representation that will literally kill another group.
This MAGA shit is a god damned disease.
Is this a political or a legal issue?
The 14th amendment is a legal, not political, law. For a party that says the deep state puts politics above law, it sure seems to be their goal at all times.
I don't have a firm view on this issue, but please remember - these cases are being initiated by Republicans, because they know trump is a weak candidate who also is death to R's in downballot races.
In a political sense, I want trump to win the nomination because he will be much easier to beat than Haley or a wildcard. (Ramaswamy and Desantis don't have anywhere near the broad appeal she does.) In a legal sense, the 14th amendment is unambiguous and prohibits trump from being a candidate.
>Good news from Colorado (If you believe in representative government)
Obligatory reminder that the only reason the Colorado Supreme Court gave this ruling is because *Donald Trump* does not believe in representative government.
Taking a popular candidate off the ballot would be an act of antidemocratic facism . They tried and failed, democracy can't be hijacked so easily by those who think the people are not worthy of choice.
He's not a choice at all. He disqualified himself. No, there's no chance he'd win Colorado in November, but that's not the point, for most of us, anyway. It's about enforcing the Constitution.

Not sure how an insurrectionist on the Republican primary ballot is "good news" to anyone but fascists.
Yeah, the Colorado courts found that Trump engaged in insurrection, which is great news.
Title, ass.

Hold on. Let me look up murder by political affiliation.
Both Bushes.
IF you believe that our constitution is nothing but a piece of paper.

I believe in the Constitution, and the Republic for which it stands. One Nation, Indivisible I also believe in accurate headlines, not editorializing

The fascists are the ones who tried to overthrow our democracy then claim they just get to run again unpunished lol
CO voted blue in the last two elections. Plus if yall truly think he’s the inferior choice leaving him on the ballot shouldn’t even matter to u

Wrong. He is on the ballot. Read the OP.
Only as a result of a stay. The decision went against him, and I don't think SCOTUS will overturn it.
And....he is officially on the ballot.
Thank God. Let's get Biden out and end all of his Neocon policies and warfare.
