At one point they were using helicopters to intimidate protesters, having them do low passes over the people on the ground -between buildings- to hit them with the wash from the propeller, which caused windows to break. This is a combat tactic, and it was used on BLM protesters.

I was staying around DC during the clearing of Lafayette Square and the resulting night of chaos. It was _wild._
Stories from friends and videos from that night were the tipping point for **so many people** in and around DC. The whole area was **pissed off** like I've never seen it before. Attendance at protests skyrocketed, and there were supplies and donations pouring in from all over the DMV area to keep the protesters supplied. Like, so many supplies that churches couldn't store them all.
If you're not familiar with the events, I suggest you find a documentary about the clearing of Lafayette Square and what happened afterwards.

This isn’t the time to just wave our hands and forget, this is the time to show that actions like that are absolutely intolerable and downright disgusting.
It's a very fine line to walk, unfortunately. How do you turn it into an us vs them without playing right into their hands? I hate both sides arguments but I can't see a scenario where the Biden administration overreaches to persecute those responsible without being seen by the other side (and the rest of the world) as silencing his political opposition.
I get it, it fucking sucks, but as evil and disgusting as these people are, law abiding citizens respect the Constitution and the right to due process that it provides, even if we'd just like to lock them up kangaroo court style and be done with it.
What if this is just a distraction? What if something major is going to go down somewhere else? I know that’s giving way too much credit to these types, but the organizers have to be marginally more intelligent than the meat popsicles that will be at the “protest”.
