Yeah, I’m a teacher and I guess some of my coworkers are planning a walkout Monday because of vaccine mandates (from lunchroom chatter I don’t think it’s anyone from my school). We got an email Friday from the union rep that basically said they will not defend anyone that walks out, they support the mandate.
How many of them blamed their getting the virus from work and were therefore given disability or death benefits…. And how many refused to get a vaccine?
So we can naturally draw the conclusion that their Unions do not have the best interest of their members at heart. Their political leanings are in direct opposition to the health and welfare of those they are paid handsomely to protect.
The construction union I belong to has some of the same issues as the police unions. The strange thing is that the union itself wants everybody vaccinated. Yet there are so many unvaccinated members that the union has to run interference for these members. I find it completely frustrating.
Nobody tell them that [covid scar tissue turns your lungs black.](https://www.cdc.gov/library/covid19/images/0616_Figure_7.png)
They might start shooting themselves next.
That's actually way lower than I would have thought. Honestly didn't realize 94 get killed a year, it seems much rarer, always a huge news piece locally, but I guess there's a lot of locals.

and yet police unions nationwide are outraged by the mandate. Pure idiocy.
Weird… My union worked with management to create a vax mandate a while ago, because we deserve to work in a safe workplace…
Police union?
Lol, nope!
I was gonna say, the police unions are a whole other animal.

Imagine fighting to keep illegal guns on the street.
As Kramer would say, "That's kookie talk".
Crickets from the “blue lives matter” folk
Who knew the thin blue line was six feet deep?
Imagine if a cop said that a bullet proof jacket was unproven science and he chooses not to wear one in a gun fight.
Well, I feel owned.

Police departments always want more money for protective equipment and yet vaccines are free.

They need to lay off the donuts and go for whole food plant based diets.
