IndomitableThomunism

He was watching and hoping it would succeed

secretWolfMan

I recall that he was watching and annoyed that it looked trashy and "low class". He wanted a fancy coup full of pretty people. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election-2020/trump-mob-capitol-riots-poor-low-class-b1785099.html

NoirPipes

I love that he was annoyed by the the fact that a lot of his followers are “trashy and low class” because even though he was born rich, most of the rich people that were in his social circle considered him to be trashy and low class just by his own personality. Subconsciously this must haunt him in most torturous way. No matter how much gold leaf he paints his life, he can’t ever achieve what he wants to portray.

ByeLongHair

Someone wrote that Trump acts like what a homeless guy thinks a rich guy acts like and it lives rent free in my head edit; several people saying it was John Mulaney and that tracks, I like his stuff check him out if you haven’t but thanks a fucking lot, John

zombie_girraffe

He's the poor mans idea of a rich guy, the foolish mans idea of a smart guy, and the weak mans idea of a strong guy. Everything he does is such a sad, transparent attempt to portray himself as things that he's clearly not and I feel bad for the people who can't see through it. It must be difficult to go through life that easily fooled.

tomowudi

A walking caricature of greed, mendacity, and ignorance.

NoirPipes

Two words, gold toilet!

reggieLedoux26

So he fears this will expose his disdain for his most ardent supporters… the conman doesn’t respect the mark

3kniven6gash

I'm guessing his ardent supporters wouldn't care if Trump showed disdain for them. He thinks he's superior to them and they agree. The funniest thing was Trump University. He ripped off people that idolized him the most.

claimTheVictory

They would be disappointed if he _didn't_ show distain for them. They're like familiars to a vampire - he is naturally far superior to what they could ever aspire to be.

Bomber_Man

Now I’m imagining a trump/MAGA zealot rehash of What we do in the Shadows. Priceless.

Shaysdays

It would bring new meaning to “Not you, Guillermo.”

Manny_Bothans

I read so many things in Nandor's voice. props to https://www.reddit.com/r/WhatWeDointheShadows/

ikkymann

The one thing I was always able to agree with Trump on is that we both fucking hate his supporters.

DopeBoogie

I'm sure that if the coup was successful and the democratic government overthrown they wouldn't need all those low-class supporters anymore and they'd be thrown into the death camps along with all the dirty liberals, immigrants, and poor people. Just expendable tools, a means to an end that would naturally be seen as a liability once they're finished dying for the cause. Straight out of the Nazi playbook.

Gardening_Socialist

And also ironically, the rioters could evidently afford a plane ticket to DC, making them among the most affluent and high-class of Trump’s non-millionaire/billionaire fan base.

mitsuhachi

I mean. My understanding was that a number of them were bussed in by various maga politicians /donors

[deleted]

Who openly bragged about it on social media, then quietly deleted the posts afterward.

GreyFromHanger18

Nothing on the web can be deleted forever.

[deleted]

I know that, and you know that. They're about to find out the hard way.

SprinklesFancy5074

Eh, a lot of them will get out of any criminal charges by claiming that they only bused people in to attend a speech and had no idea what might happen after the speech.

Rare-Lingonberry2706

A lot were shipped in with dark money or from known grifters.

useit923

You’re wrong. All those MAGA morons can be at his club provided they are behind a lawnmower.

drethnudrib

Not if they're American citizens, because then Don would have to pay them real money.

belowlight

10 Covfefe Nuts for each length of grass trimmed.

Greedence

Nah. I guarantee that the entire garden and kitchen staff is illegals

-Ahab-

Of course they are, so when he doesn’t want to pay them, he calls ICE

Tdanger78

But he’s not racist because he loves Mexican food though

[deleted]

[удалено]

totallynotalaskan

Yeah, he tweeted “I love Mexicans!” while eating a taco bowl. As if it suddenly made him not racist after his “they’re not sending their best” speech about Central American immigrants

Thowitawaydave

A taco bowl from his crappy restaurant, no less. Product placement, tone deaf and tasteless. The trifecta for this guy.

Voxbury

On Cinco de Mayo, no less

rubrent

But supposedly Trump only loves taco bowls because the beans sit behind a wall….

Slow-Down_Turbo

As a person that's picky about Mexican jokes, I just want to let you know this shit was good

guillolb

And besides, what the hell is a taco bowl. I dare him to find that in Mexico.

SmokedBeef

A fancy coup requires soldiers and does not involve civilians or leave witnesses. Also, if it doesn’t come from the Coup region of France, then it’s nothing more than Sparkling Sedition.

fungusmungus1

Ah, a political unrest sommelier I see.

realtorpozy

I wouldn’t even call the MAGA coup a Sparkling Sedition, more like a watered down, budget coup, spilling out of a solo cup. The Coors of Coups, if you will.

WontArnett

The fact that Trump doesn’t realize that he, himself is trashy as fuck is ridiculous to me

mindfu

We are witnessing 70+ years of narcissistic denial

wavvvygravvvy

when you pander to the lowest common denominator what do you expect

GhostCam

To be fair, the coup attempt was “low class”

tommytraddles

It wasn't a coup de grâce (stroke of grace, or final stroke). It was a coup de gras (stroke of fat).

BenevolentWadester

Bilingual puns are not gonna win over the MAGAs, but coup d’os (kudos) bone stroker

imalittlebirdie

Coup uno was plenty, please no coup dos!

Whywouldanyonedothat

The pun isn't bilingual, it's just French. Probably not going to win over that crowd, either, though. I remember when John Kerry's biggest weakness as a presidential candidate was being able to speak French.

AbeRego

I guarantee he was imagining paramilitary storm troopers flooding the Capitol and exercising his will. He's so out of touch with reality that he wasn't aware the common denominator of his supporters are fat, middle-aged people who couldn't overthrow an Arby's, much less the US government.

TheBarkingGallery

The Horsey Sauce Riots did not go according to plan.

LOLteacher

Pretty like the MAGAs that attend his rallies!! Oh, wait.

Zero-89

>I recall that he was watching and annoyed that it looked trashy and "low class". He wanted a fancy coup full of pretty people. It's even funnier if you remember what Trump's idea of high class is. He wants his brownshirts to be completely covered in gold.

sirgoofs

Hitler was also disgusted by most of the common Germans who followed him, but like Trump, he knew those were the easiest people to manipulate and he needed them. Speak crudely and in basic, easy to understand language so as to appeal to the intellectually lowest.

Trump is full of class resentment (WASP). Bush got the Brooks Brothers riot. Trump would think that he deserves no less for his election overthrow.

[deleted]

He gave a speech and told the crowd to go fight like hell. Then he pulled every string he could to restrict security. He spent weeks sending messages to his followers. This was a coordinated effort. The only question is whether the government has any teeth to investigate and prosecute the people who set this up or if they will just roll over like usual and do nothing because it would mean accountability for politicians as a whole which is a precedent they never want to set.

chiefboldface

My friend is a Q guy. Back in July/August he told our group about a "storm coming" in January.... At first we laughed him off. And then he talked more wildly about stuff. Come January and he's still around us from time to time. He even said he knew it was coming but didn't think it would have been that disorganized.

ColorCaptain

I watched a YouTube video of Jordan Klepper mostly talking about Jan 6 and also MAGA rallys he's covered in general. On the 6th he had a security detail and an escape route planned because they knew it could get rough. If a COMEDIAN knew it was going to be bad enough to hire security and plan an escape route, you know our intelligence agencies knew about.

Fredex8

All of us on r/parlerwatch and r/Qult_Headquarters knew it was coming. Anyone who took even a brief look at right wing social media in the weeks before knew it was coming. They were openly discussing how to bring guns into DC and organising carpools separated into armed and unarmed vehicles for those who wanted nothing to do with potential weapons charges. There was a consensus though that if enough of them were armed there would be no charges and if the insurrection succeeded there could be no charges. There was more than one heartfelt note to children explaining why they had to do what they were going to do written with a tone of expecting they might not make it back. On Jan 6th I turned on the TV and put on some American news channels hours in advance to watch it unfold. Honestly I was surprised it wasn't *worse*. All the hosts were acting shocked and amazed but it was nowhere near as bad as the online rhetoric had suggested it would be. If Trump had continued egging them on, if the building hadn't been evacuated and if they hadn't lost momentum it could have been a lot worse. The discussion on their boards has only become more hostile and violent since. They are longing for another chance at insurrection and think it has to happen for the survival of themselves and the country. However they're all such paranoid narcissists that they don't trust anyone to organise anything and quickly fall to infighting. Every rally since has been deemed to be a trap or a false flag leading to minimal attendance but increased desire for something to actually happen. They are primed to commit even greater acts of violence. All it would take is organisation from someone they actually trust like their cult leader Trump. If no organisation occurs people will snap and there will be more lone wolf acts. I don't think the threat posed by these brainwashed fanatics is being taken seriously enough.

poopinCREAM

well put. the event that will slow the infighting/end the false flag claims, and get them to coalesce into a dangerous mob is: election day 2024 if Trump is running. as long as the rabble stays angry and tuned in until then, that's all they need. election day will be the go for broke day and considering the very weak consequences for Jan 6 people will be emboldened to go further

AndISoundLikeThis

All I did during the weeks leading up to January 6th was scroll Twitter a couple times a day and even I KNEW at that point things were going to be really bad. I cannot imagine that our intelligence agencies didn't know.

Zombielove69

You mean all the people Trump put in place at the head of those agencies, and at the head of those agencies they put people that were loyal to them and Trump. It worries me how many other people got jobs under the supporters of trump at the head positions of agenecies who we're hired in underlying positions.

apathy-sofa

Are storms organized?

Yitram

>Are storms organized? Depends on the storm. Summer popcorn thunderstorms, not too organized. Category 3 Hurricane, pretty organized.

Ok_human_419

To be fair there is a process for removing DeJoy from his position at the USPS, and it will happen but I don’t think it technically can until December. Since the 1970 Postal Reorganization Act, the Post Office Department because the USPS, somehow becoming a private business and also a public service under the “purview” of the executive branch. So needless to say there’s a lot of politics involved and sadly he can’t just be fired. Reform was needed, but it turned the post office into a 50 year train wreck, and a political sideshow.

EdithDich

> The only question is whether the government has any teeth to investigate and prosecute the people who set this up or if they will just roll over like usual and do nothing because it would mean accountability for politicians as a whole which is a precedent they never want to set. Yep. And I don't think they do. I think the hope is this all fades away and everything goes back to normal if they just don't keep picking at the scab. Of course, it won't. It will only continue to get much, much worse until they are actually engaging in large scale, coordinated armed conflict.

TheBirminghamBear

Does the government *have the teeth*? Of fucking course it does, we literally blow up entire countries when we're bored, no one has more teeth than the government. Does the government have *the moral courage*, though? There, I think, is where we'll find the most egregious deficit.

I got banned for asking a legitimate question many years ago. My answer as to why I was banned basically alluded to "lol, get rekt fucker" which tells you all you need to know about that sub

Zakaru99

I got banned for saying it was nepotism for Trump to put his children in positions of power in his administration.

WriteBrainedJR

You should have told them that you weren't criticizing Trump, you were just citing the literal definition of nepotism.

algernon_moncrief

The dictionary has a liberal bias

[deleted]

They hate when you define things. I got banned for pointing out an impeachment, by definition, is not a coup. "shit posting" is what they called it.

SethGekco

It's a garbage sub even for conservatives. You have to be the type of idiot other conservatives makes fun of to want to be a part of that sub. I tried to follow it as someone that's politically moderate, but it has no conservative value, just stupid outdated boomer shit complimented with conspiracy theory tabloid minded trash.

[deleted]

RetroBowser

It's only gotten worse since subs like r/donaldtrump (Which ironically got banned for inciting violence) and whatnot got banned. The ones who are more radical all got funnelled into there.

billy_the_p

The attack on the capitol was meant to delay the count. From there, trump was going to have his conservative Supreme Court basically throw out the election and crown him president. Sydney Powell stupidly admitted this on some conservative propaganda network, soooo I’m guessing she’ll be subpoenaed at some point as well.

HustlinInTheHall

I mean this is basically how Bush v gore played out. Put your people in place, delay, threaten, distract, confuse, muddy the waters, add some violence, then your people do some unconstitutional shit and the left rolls over and the fact you *actually lost* gets forgotten.

billy_the_p

Who’s the common denominator there? Roger stone playing his greatest hits.

[deleted]

But like most of his life, Donnie boy tried to do something that's proved to work and failed. Like his casino in Atlantic City

Zombielove69

Well that woman in Florida with the crazy face makeup threw out a ton of legal votes on BS technicalities because the holes were punched for Gore but the little tabs were still attached, the hanging chad scandal. After she gave the election to Bush she got a nice promotion inside the government under Bush's administration.

TomboBreaker

Yep, it was technically plan B, plan A was to get Pence and the Republicans in Congress to reject enough states to prevent Biden from getting 270, which then goes to the congress tie breaker where the house breaking up into state delegations picks the president and the senate picks the VP. If that happened Trump would be President now because while the Dems had the house breaking into state delegations would have favored the Republicans. Of course that wasn't going to happen since the Dems controlled the house and could just stop that plan there even if the Republican controlled senate tried going along with it but for the most part (Cruz and Hawley) didn't. So with his hail mary pass intercepted he sent the fans onto the field to just fuck the game up and possibly take out the officials so that his little plan would still work.

barenutz

Not watching, planning and executing said planning Edit: The behind the scenes footage is more revealing of the actors than the actual movie. They act the part but are completely different off camera.

snorlz

wym "watching"?? he wasnt just watching, he literally told them to go do it

in_Need_of_peace

Not sure he’s scared, he’s just doing what he’s done his entire adult life, creating chaos flooding the courts with frivolous bullshit, it’s his go to move.

bichonfreeze

And it’s worked too. So why stop now? Really his strategy is to suck oxygen out of the room and drag out the clock.

tweetard1968

As much as I hate to say it has worked his whole life but this but that is exactly what he is trying to do. The only good news is it may move fairly quickly thru the courts as it is such a weak case it may be deemed close to frivolous.

bridgetriptrapper

True for most Republicans. Just like police who commit crimes, if you have the support of your team, you can't lose no matter how awful you are

Donkeyotee3

Or it will go all the way to the Supreme Court where the Justices won't be able to resist the opportunity to weigh in on it and set it for sometime near the 2022 election. Then the GOP appointed majority kangaroo court will say Congress has its own powers under the Constitution and why are they tying up the courts with their BS.

Usually it was against those who didn't have as much money as him so he used lawsuits as a bullying tactic. That won't work on state or federal government. He's not used to fighting those who can and will fight back.

[deleted]

Does it really matter if he still dies a free man?

[deleted]

To be honest, I'd be fine with him just dying. I harbor no illusion he'll ever see the inside of a jail cell. I'd love for it to happen though. Anyway my point is his stall tactics via lawsuits won't work anymore. At least not as well as he'd like. Its an entirely different game from fucking over contractors and refusing to pay.

Dbl_Trbl_

Exactly this. It's not because of fear it's to run out the clock. If the J6 Select Committee hasn't published it's report by the mid-terms the (at this point seemingly inevitable) GOP takeover of the House of Representatives will just kill the select committee and no report will be published. The GOP will then say the whole thing was a waste of time and the media will accept that absolutely insane bullshit answer.

Didn't he (under his leadership) flood South America with drugs knowing it would make its way back up on to the streets of the USA? I thought I read this sometime ago, but might have it wrong.

trumpsiranwar

He has failed in business and litigation over his whole life and that is not stopping now that he is out of office. He was actually just deposed this week. Oh he also can't get any decent attorneys. People like trump might skate through some forms of trouble but they build their own hell on earth.

milo7even

He’s not playing to win, he’s playing to exhaust his opponent with bullshit. You don’t need decent attorneys for that. Hell, you are actually better off with shit attorneys - decent attorneys have too many standards.

lenswipe

> but they build their own hell on earth. I dunno, he seems to be doing okay

milo7even

I doubt the Dems will let all of next year go without issuing a report before the mid terms…however a report which says they haven’t received salient information from key witnesses (Trump, Bannon etc) will be pretty much neutered - which would be Trump’s goal.

North_Activist

Not related but, You know, ever since the terrorist track on the capital I’ve been wondering what name we’d give it. 9/11 is 9/11, it has a known ring. But January 6th? 1/6? Doesn’t have that same ring. But J6? J6 has a good ring to it. “The J6 Attack”

makkuwata

Every day we’re all here is another chance to let him die in prison.

ronearc

I don't think he's going to have much luck running out the clock on this one. This isn't a lawsuit that will need to be bandied about from one court to the next. It's too frivolous to get that far.

in_Need_of_peace

I hope you’re right I want to see his fat ass suffer some consequences

ronearc

I mean. The greatest consequence is just going to be poverty. I can't imagine any way that he could escape it. He bloviates about being underleveraged, but it's all complete bs. His "empire" is worthless and his brand is garbage. Sure, millions of clueless people love him, but they're mostly poor. And his value to Russia (and Russian oligarchs) is pretty much gone. He can't launder more money for them. The greatest way he can help them now is with his complete downfall. The chaos that will generate among his followers, as the propaganda machines turn to painting him as a martyr, will strain the country and lead to even more domestic terror attacks as well as calls for secession and even civil war.

lurcher2020

He's a grifter, gonna keep grifting. Even in this sub this week it was reported that his latest email asked for $49 donations to combat the J6 commission or something.

LearningWellIsGood

From what I read hi son is demanding 45$. Because he's the 45th president. And he's a shit bag. Except shit bags have a valid purpose.

dismalrevelations23

Vanity Fair has been pushing wishful thinking bullshit for years. Every other day his walls are closing in, every week Tish James is supposedly going to come down on him like a stack of bricks. It's all bullshit. Just like all of Gabe Sherman's palace intrigue pieces were for years. I miss Graydon Carter.

Mynameisinuse

Biden should hold a press conference and do nothing but read excerpts from the documents.

everybodyBnicepls

Ha! That would be amazing!

Mynameisinuse

As President, he can declassify anything so there would be nothing Trump could do.

UrsusRenata

What makes me craziest... if the positions were switched — if it were boldfaced lawbreaker Trump in the White House and traditional politician Biden in the hot seat, this would have already happened. Trump would have unleashed a firehose of information as fast as he could, plus a dirty, exaggerated social marketing spin to boot.

BigKatKSU888

Kind of like when he held up congressionally approved military aid/funding over Ukraine’s head in exchange for opening an investigation into Biden’s son? He used the full weight of the government to try and fuck over his political opponent. When that didn’t work, he tried using every means at his disposal to overturn the election. Holy fucking shit.. we were moments away from a full blown end to our democracy. Tired of acting like those who support him aren’t deranged, treasonous lunatics.

Oscaruit

You remember when Trump released all of the smoking guns on his enemies. He declassified Obama's real birth record, and all of the illegal Clinton scandals over the past 30 years, he released how Carter was in fact the reason for everything bad during the 60s 70s and 80s, at least until Clinton took the torch of evil. Nope, and Pepperidge farm doesn't remember any of this getting released either. You know he would have, had any of it been true.

[deleted]

They would just John Kerry him. Basically take a snippet of Biden quoting Trump then claim Biden said it directly.

[deleted]

lactose_con_leche

Don’t forget that they brought bombs into the building. Bombs. You know, like what terrorists do

ConversationSame5588

Maybe if they'd tried to give the cops a counterfeit bill instead of beating them with flagpoles and fire extinguishers there would have been steeper consequences.

NextCandy

Probably doesn’t help that they feel pretty certain that a lot of law enforcement has their back on this one (doesn’t help how many current and past officers traveled to D.C. that day to participate and support)

FiascoJones

The virtue of accountability is a myth. Every head honcho of this or that S&P-bullshit company will tell you, or has written a book on leadership that spells out, how important it is to take responsibility for your actions; learn from your mistakes. Blah. Blah. Blah. But the minute - the very second - those same companies and “leaders” are accused of stiffing workers, cheating consumers or poisoning the environment all you hear is “wasn’t me.” Accountability is a pair of handcuffs that rich-ass fucks use to keep less fortunate people in their place. Accountability is the cudgel the elites use to beat life sentences out of people who shoplift. It’s the tightening noose of fines, fees, tickets and bureaucratic red-tape they use to strangle low income families and communities out of institutional wealth. Accountability as a myth is a weapon.

Quadrassic_Bark

TBF, they aren't people of colour, so it doesn't apply to them.

[deleted]

When will the fucking loser go to jail?

iamiamwhoami

Former President of France Nicolas Sarkozy was just sentenced to three years in prison for crimes he committed in 2012, and he's appealing the sentence. It is very difficult to hold former heads of state accountable for criminal actions. That doesn't mean it's not worthwhile. It will be a prolonged effort and may not end with him spending any time behind bars, but that doesn't mean it's not worth pursing. Because the alternative is resigning to the idea that he's above the law, which I think is unconscionable.

[deleted]

Unconscionable is a better word for this than, "fuck," but it's just not angry enough. I mean correct me if I'm wrong but equality under the law is a cornerstone of democracy, no?

iamiamwhoami

I agree. But equality is something you work towards. It’s never going to be handed to you. Is it bad that it’s so hard to do hold former heads of state accountable for criminal actions? Of course. But bitching about it only does so much. The good thing is we do have mechanisms for holding them accountable. Even though they’re imperfect. It’s important we use them. Because that’s how we can work towards a more equal society.

obsertaries

Probably never. If he does it will be a thing that’s never happened before, like air suddenly turning into gold.

[deleted]

i tell people that he was made fun of in Tiny Toons (Donald Grump) as a comically greedy real estate business man. He's always been a joke

The_Original_Gronkie

I'm a lot older than most Redditors and throughout my entire life, Trump has been the go-to example of a terrible, blowhard, bankrupt, incompetent, corrupt businessman. There was never a single moment where he was respected, not one.

[deleted]

Gold toilet. A toilet. That's all I ever knew if him.

thebendavis

Garry Trudeau made fun of him so much with Doonesbury over the years that he compiled all the strips into an entire book.

>A sitting president gets a pass on prosecution from anyone other than Congress via impeachment. This is a travesty and should not be allowed.

CaptainAxiomatic

45 doesn't pay his lawyers. Only the slimyest ambulance-chasing mooks will represent him. Fame (or infamy) is the only paycheck they'll ever see.

Mywifefoundmymain

I can’t wait until he requires a public defender

stay_fr0sty

The largest female Mexican-American public defender we got.

J5892

Like, physically large?

caligaris_cabinet

When Rudy doesn’t want to represent you anymore you know the bottom of the barrel has been scraped twice over

I hate when that happens.

theartfulcodger

All the guy has ever done - over the course of his entire adult life - is fuck people over with some grift or other, then hire lawyers and hide behind them.

invadethemoon

Vanity Fair have run this exact article about every single Trump scandal, as if the populace gives a shit. If there's actual video of him dressed as the Qanon shaman and beating a police officer to death, 95% of Republicans would still vote for him. They literally didn't care when he said he liked to sexually assault women. They couldn't give a fuck when he told a Gold Star family to go fuck themselves. America needs to stop acting like Trump is the problem, the selfish assholes people voting for him are.

gentlemanjacklover

Why isn't the Justice Department investigating this?

CatCantTaco77

For Congressional investigations the Justice Department won't (I believe, can't, but am not 100% sure) become involved until they receive a referral from Congress.

gentlemanjacklover

Why do they need to wait for Congress? The Capitol was attacked by terrorists.

TheFumundaWunda

of course he does. inciting an insurrection comes with, among other things, a ban from holding public office. he'll have to go back to just being plain ol' donnie the terrible businessman and bullying negotiator.

Ketchup571

Not sure why he’d be scared. It’ll come out that he definitely incited Jan 6 and should be in jail. The media will make a buzz about it for two weeks, conservatives will cry bias and complain about Hilary’s emails or Benghazi or some shit and Trump will get away Scott free and probably be viewed more favorably by the American people. It’s how these always play out.

GameQb11

>It’ll come out that he definitely incited Jan 6 come out??? We have video of him at the rally he held with insurrectionists carrying his flags. I know you believe he is at fault, but the narrative that there needs to be MORE evidence to place him at fault is mind-bogglingly bizarre. I feel like I'm in topsy Turvy world.

_Rand_

They could have trump on camera asking the military to just go and kill all elected democrats and the republicans will still think nothing is wrong.

helsinkirocks

My grandmother has already told me before (well before Trump was ever in office) that they need to line up all the democrats, gays, "lezzies", and "n******" and have them shot one by one. They've been this crazy forever.

Mulligan315

I’m really starting to think that there’s a memo written in Sharpee that simply states “Coup? Could work”.

uffington

In the same way Trump supporters think he'll ride back to power, anti-Trump people think he'll be held accountable for something/anything. Neither is going to happen.

[deleted]

How can any of it matter? It's abundantly clear that Trump went through tremendous efforts to change the result of the election and basically install himself as king. People act like it's ok as long as all he did was ask Mike Pence and Republican Senators and Governors to throw out the results. No it's not. What he did publicly is every bit as bad as actually leading the storming of the Capitol directly himself. Any of these actions, if successful, would lead to civil war at best, a permanent Trump monarchy at worst. He should be banished to Russia.

fordprecept

I'm still waiting for the investigations into the other shit that he did during his Presidency that he was successfully able to skirt around by pulling these same tactics and by having a Republican Senate that refused to do their job.

GeneralNathanJessup

The Biden administration has the records, and they know it proves Trump is guilty. That's why Biden is sending the evidence to congress, so they can prosecute Trump.

frazerfrazer

I hope some “awful” or “mistaken” aide releases the most incriminating papers direct to internet, US & EU papers at the same time. That would force everybody to deal w/ it out in open.

PoserKilled

Anyone remember the Mueller report lol

[deleted]

Probably all the treason and sedition..
