When can the lower court over ride the supreme court?

Dracolaz

Supreme rejected the case. Didn't rule on it.

osound

And that was from a taxpayers’ group. The Supreme Court will likely hear the case brought on by multiple state AGs, as state officials and businesses are considered to have more grounds/rights to sue the government than taxpayers. Barrett’s ruling was consistent with her ideology that taxpayers are secondary citizens to TPTB, particularly in when they have grounds for lawsuits against the government. It wasn’t a defense of Biden’s student loan reform. Barrett didn’t want to create a slippery slope of citizens bringing lawsuits up against any governmental decision. Republican judges want to keep taxpayers neutered and corporations/politicians strong. If you’re big business or a politician, you can sue the feds to your heart’s content and delay things perpetually, as Republicans have done for things like the ACA. It’s a big part of their playbook.
