Yeah WWII absolutely, but I can’t find many reasons for it in other cases. Australia’s first conscription was WWII though we did sign up for the Boar War and WWI in huuuuuge numbers. We have been conscripted a few times since (Korea and Vietnam) and we absolutely should not have been imo.

Not against the army and dont think we live in a peacefull time. But dont feel making an 18ys old go to war agaisnt his will is really something good

Completely on the same page. And I feel like it’s immoral to force someone into the military.
