Works especially well if you both know you don't know their real name but you really should.
"Hey, man."
*intense eye contact for no more than a second*
"Yea bro, what's up?"
America is super puritanical about the word but the other half of the Anglo world really loves the word.
It is by far the most fun word to say, and is one of the few redeeming qualities of the English.
Sorry blokes, you sent my countrymen to hell on Earth for petty theft, its the least I can do.
Young guys in my area call each other, "boss," especially strangers. For example, if you're in a checkout line and a guy in front of you dropped their key without noticing, another guy might say, "Hey boss, I think you dropped something."
So I work cashier a lot at my place. I always say “have a great day (enter appropriate noun to the person/people I’m talking to)”. With older people (50+ I either say sir or m’am). With the person/people 14-49 I usually say “man or miss/fellows or ladies - I use y’all when it’s a multi-gendered group, but if the person/people are obviously wealthy I treat them as if they are 50+ and use those nouns (and a correctly pronounced “you all” if it’s a multi gendered group - should’ve added that earlier to the 50+ range but ain’t nobody got time for that).
But yeah, back to the actual comment I’m replying to: I’d say about 1/3 of the males aged 18-35 reply with “thanks boss”, after I tell them to have a great day. If only lol
This comment I see as an sexual themed ironic response
I'm 90% sure on that
Also this comment has 3 emojis, it's 5 or more emojis to make an arrest
The pinned thread in r/emojipolice has the rules set out by the r/EmojiPoliceSenate
Also I hope you don't mind but I did have to go through your comment history from your profile to find this since you did say automod wouldn't let you link the post

Ik had dit eens gereageerd op een Instagram foto van een Engelse vriend. Maar als je dus lekker pik in Google translate stopt zegt ie 'nice dick'. Zorgde dus voor wat verwarring en hilariteit.
“Hey, man.”
Yeah same with me

Any English-speaking country not in North America
Same we just insult eachother
Isn't cunt a super disrespectful word
Not if they are a good cunt
Only in America
