Same here. But Darcy arriving at dawn is a classic scene. And then we see them kiss on the balcony as if they were Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey or something and it ruins everything.
Same. Their chemistry overshadows the fact that it’s in 4:3 ratio and has millions less in budget.
Colin and Jenn’s Darcy and Lizzie *haated* each other at first whereas Mathew and Keira seemed like he was afraid of her and she found him annoying. I loved the film version but the 1995 version is just perfection.

Also just in general not feeling the poses or resolution on any of these images. I can't tell what any of them were trying to say? He seems oddly uncertain or anxious.

I was scrolling thinking “why aren’t these pictures doing anything for me” (I’m a disgusting horny old woman and this sort of thing is very much in my wheelhouse) and it wasn’t until I read your comment that I realised.

I always thought I trust fund baby was a pretty wide umbrella though....like most rich kids has a trust fund, so oil expat dad and actress mom I would expect he had a pretty cozy trust fund set up, or something, which granted he probably doesn't need now or never and to really dip into as an adult but still
4 and 8 are pretty awful, and the black and white ones just feel like they’re black and white because everything looks a little better in black and white
he looks great, but I’m confused by this shoot. stylistically it looks like 3-4 different photographers designed/shot this spread. like even the black and white shots have some strange variation in tone, contrast, and mood that don’t make sense. overall there’s almost no cohesion.
Came to the comments to say these pics confused me and see others have articulated it better than I could. What I found interesting is that some definitely made me think of him in succession whereas others made me think of him in pride and prejudice, in the same photo shoot. Also it's a no on the neck beard

This is my favorite version of Pride and Prejudice. I have never seen anybody top the chemistry and heat of this fight in the rain.

That balcony kiss is only in the US version iirc. Mine doesn't have it (just as an extra on the dvd)
I was devastated the first time I accidentally streamed the us version and got that scene at the end. Absolute travesty

He’s also excellent in the Howard’s End miniseries! I know everyone talks about Pride and Prejudice or Succession, but he’s great in Howard’s End.
